Yan family residence is managed by the 20th generation of Yan family, the first of the four families in Xizhou. It mainly shows the history of Yan family in Xizhou, Bai people's architectural art and Bai people's folk customs. The architectural forms of Yanjia's dwellings keep the typical Bai's dwellings such as "Three Squares and One Photo Wall", "Four-in-Five-Courtyards", "One Courtyard and Two Courtyards (Six Contract Spring)", "Walking Horses and Crossing Corner Towers", "Wufeng Tower". Entering the courtyard, the grand three-drop watercolor doors of eaves and arches, the magnificent three-layer painted walls of floral panels, the exquisite three-layer carved wooden lattice doors, the vivid sculpture arts of various figures, birds and animals, flowers, birds, fish and insects, make people feel the broad and profound architectural art of Bai people's houses.
