Yale Town is a community, roughly surrounded by Fuxi, Lowson Street and Homer Street. Formerly an industrial area full of warehouses and railway rolling stock factories, the area was transformed into a high-density residential area after the 1986 World Expo. The former red brick warehouse is now one of Vancouver's fashion blocks, with art studios, designer stores, avant-garde boutiques, cafes and restaurant bars. From First Nation artworks to diamond bracelets, there are boutiques all over the place, which are perfect for tourists who want to find some unique or fashionable goods.
