I was slightly taken aback when entering and being quite rudely advised whether "I was aware of their menu" as we hadn''t made a booking and obviously thought this might not be the right place for us. However, reception aside, the food and service we received for the rest of the night was phenomenal. We did the Captains Menu and had the wine pairings to compliment it. Great food!
我是一個愛吃的人,我也是一個酒鬼,所以我決定從Del Posto開始拾回我的美食記憶。一句話來說“這是我最愛的餐廳,沒有之一”。創辦人是我最愛的大廚Joe Bastianich和Mario Batali,我去吃的時候,廚房是由Chef Mark Ladner管理的(他的所有意麵都是魔性的,偏題下,他現在開了家意麵快餐start up,下次去紐約我還是要去吃的)作為一家高級餐廳,要有大廚,環境要好,要有牛逼的酒和侍酒師,午市也要沒有瑕疵。Del Posto 應有盡有……我當時吃飽喝足的原話是“It was like New York meets Roma in Paris”這家店的龍蝦是我吃過最好的龍蝦,這家店Wine Pairing是極其出色的,這家店的服務員在我第一次去紐約的時候阻止我用餐,因為我穿着短褲(所以第二次去紐約就fulfill dress code殺了過去)關於評級,雖然Del Posto從米二顆星掉到了一顆星很多年了,然而,紐約時報還是持續給它4星(最好),和Per Se一樣。最後是情結,我是一個愛紐約愛意大利的人,這家店是我最愛的意大利菜!
