The Shanghai Museum is hosting a display from a Tang Dynasty shipwreck. Many examples of exquisitely made porcelain from all over ancient China illustrate how the maritime Silk Road worked. Worth an hour to visit, but be sure to book in advance and all tickets for the day were sold out by 11am.
The Shanghai Museum, one of the most interesting museum I have ever been to. They have a very rich collection of sculptures, Chinese ancient literatures, painting, old money and many more. The most capturing thing, however, is their buddhist sculpture collection. If you enjoy museum, this place is definetely a must go. #wintergetaway
