Bayon Temple is one of my favorites because the Carvings at this Temple have more scenes of day to day life. Book a knowledgeable guide to explain what you are seeing, it will add to your enjoyment of the Bayon Temple. Wear sturdy shoes as there are many stairs and uneven surfaces at this site. You can get elephant rides at this attraction, but they are overrated, I do not suggest them. This Temple is located not too far from the main Angkor Wat Temple and can be visited the same day. A must do temple, but it can get very crowded, so be prepared.
This temple is definitely not to be missed. It is by far an amazing place.
This is one of the most impressive of the astonishingly beautiful complex of temples that surround Siem Reap. It’s very close to Angkor Wat but very different. It’s also quite a small temple but full of atmosphere. I visited it twice as I purchased a (non particularly cheap) 3 days ticket and the second time it was almost the sunset and I found that it’s particularly beautiful in this kind of light. If you happen to visit Siem Reap don’t miss it, if you’re considering a trip there, this is one more reason to go. :)
The Bayon Temple. The temple with the faces! Such a beautiful place! Remember to take a pic while kissing the buddha . At the West gate you can also check out the bridge with the Gods of Love on one side and the gods of evil on the other side. So many riches in this place. I had an amazing time!
