We just happened to need a place to eat and accidentally stopped in for a bite besides my reluctance. I must say, I couldn't be more wrong. Thai steak, soft shell crabs, crab fried rice, dumblings, shrimp rolls, sushi....all delicious, fast service and only $56. Happy tummy!
We had takeout from here twice during a recent visit to DC, while staying nearby. Top choice were the shrimp spring rolls, crispy spring roll wrapped around a whole shrimp, with tail. Delicious! Also enjoyed chicken massaman curry and chicken pad thai. Good food. Generous portions.
Scouting for new places to eat lunch, I went to Bloomingdale area of D.C. and found this small. and cute Thai restaurant tugged in between the more known-name restaurants in at the intersection of first street N.W. and Rhode Island Avenue N.W, Instead of ordering Thai food, I decided to go for "sushi" which is part of the restaurant. To my surprise, sushi was good with reasonable price. Even in late afternoon, I was a few tables with Thai food and they look good. Another surprise, the carry out section was busy and the phone was ringing off the hook. I will definitely go back to try Thai food. The place is clean and staff is friendly and always with big smile.
We ate here on our first night in DC. The Thai food was fabulous. There are great deals in Happy Hour.
