My family and I enjoyed our lunch here. The food was surprisingly good. It was over $60 for 2 burgers and 3 slices of pizza which was a little steep for the food choices. But considering the smithsonian is free and they use recyclable products it was fine

After reading the reviews I expected to be gouged for an unhealthy meal that tasted like cardboard. I was quite surprised what I saw all of the delectable items that they had a menu. They have quite a few different options to choose from, BBQ, fresh deli sandwiches, cheese plates, standard burgers, pizza and a salad bar. Not to mention the extensive dessert bar with everything from cupcakes to truffles. There is also a wide selection of juices and natural beverages. My son and I had lunch consisting of a turkey sandwich on cranberry nut bread, fresh salad with chicken, an asiago roll and 2 waters for under $20, which to me was not bad considering the area. I would definitely recommend that you give it a try.

Convenient cafeteria &amp; OK food, but expensive ($75 for 4 lunch of 3 burgers &amp; fries, a chicken salad sandwich and 4 sodas). While nice to stop &amp; sit in the museum cafeteria - it is not worth the price, if physically able to go elsewhere. After leaving the Natural History museum and seeing the 7th Street lined with food trucks, we really wishes we had taken advantage of the variety of foods from them, made a little picnic nearby, and saved $$s.
