美國大屠殺遇難者紀念館

Today is Holocaust Memorial Day. In July 2019, when I visited this museum in Washington DC, I witnessed the sight of piles of shoes. We need to know that each pair of shoes here represents a Jew who was slaughtered by the Nazis. This is the most painful lesson that history has taught mankind. We must remember this painful history - the lives and blood of the persecuted so that the next generation can learn to face each life with humility and respect. We must remember all this!

美國大屠殺紀念館也是紀念二戰時期納粹的屠殺猶太人的事件，這處紀念館也收藏了很多的東西，包括了一些納粹人的屠殺的罪證，很有歷史紀念價值的。

我們要求在我們的訪問之前，在指定的時間提前15分鐘到達。這讓我們有時間去看那些面向兒童的展覽(丹尼爾的故事)。永久性的展覽是非常好的，並有大量的文本信息、照片、視頻和工件參考。人群非常擁擠，這使我們無法完全看到一些展品。在我們完成了展覽之後，我們看了一部關於德國納粹主義在1930年代興起的電影。事後看來，我們希望我們能事先看到這部電影。

A variety of striking documents and materials are presented in front of us! Looking at the exhibition, I was thinking about what the hatred under the violence was for. A terrible history! Sad war! It's terrible. Peace is the kingdom. There were many visitors, but the serious atmosphere overwhelmed the joy!

A thought-provoking place, no one should miss. There is no place outside Europe where the brutality of the Nazi regime is as sobering as here. It's heartbreaking to see what they do to people. Absolutely a must-see place.
