Zhenyuan Ancient Town is a famous town in Zhenyuan County, Guizhou Province, southeast Guizhou Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture. It is located on the bank of Wuyang River and surrounded by mountains. The river otter passes through the city in the shape of "S". The north bank is the old city, the south bank is the old city, and the distant view is like the Taiji map. Both cities and towns were built in the Ming Dynasty, and some of the city walls and gates still exist. There are a large number of ancient buildings, traditional houses and historical wharfs inside and outside the city. Zhenyuan Ancient Town enjoys a convenient transportation location. Xiangyu Railway, Zhuliu Double Line, 320 National Highway and Shanghai-Kunming Expressway pass through the area. It is 90 kilometers, 170 kilometers and 270 kilometers away from Tongren, Hunan Minjiang and Guifei Airport respectively. The county is bordered by Hunan, Xinhuang in the east, Sansui and Jianhe in the south, Shibing in the west, and Shiqian in the Tongren and Tongren areas in the north. It is known as the Key to the Keys of the Chu and the Gateway to the East. Zhenyuan has a long history. Since the establishment of the county in the 30th year of Qin Zhaowang (277 BC), it has a history of 2281 years. Its Qing Dynasty was the place where the Tao and the government were located for more than 700 years.
