A worthwhile visit.
Beautiful Reserve. The reception unfortunately closes a lot earlier then the other drakensburg reserves. We'll kept trails. Well worth a visit. Really friendly and helpful guides & staff. Great hikes ...

Beautiful nature reserve to access and hike with good weather.
We visited this morning from Nottingham Road by taking the paved Lower Lotheni Road 30km(half potholes, half good) west to the slow dirt Mpofana Rd(~6 muddy spots) and took it 10km NW to the 2000 UNES...

Lovely drive up
Nice scenic drive up to High moor. Great birding, views of the cliffs and mountains. Look out for bald ibis and bearded vultures

Shocking neglect
So sad to see the extent of neglect. Paths eroded or disappear. Staff nowhere to be found. Beautiful surroundings and rivers which deserve at least the minimum care and management.
