Hardly worth the visit
The only remains reason to visit Port Dover. Beach is tiny annd shrinking and gross and residents are unfriendly.
Missing historical information.
Well, it is there and the view out on Lake Erie is lovely, as is the view back over Fort Dover. A visit would be greatly enhanced if an historical information sign were erected to explain the historic...
Nice view of the lake
Located right by the beach. Watch the sunsets, have an ice cream or a beverage and enjoy the view of the lake and the cottages on the hill.
Great Stroll Spot
Came here for a stroll. Walked along pier after hot chocolate from cocoa cabana. Hot chocolate was very good, pier walk is nice, and creates a great atmosphere for a fun stroll at night.
Short boardwalk - good photos
Port Dover lighthouse is at the end of a good boardwalk. Boardwalk was busy even during Covid19. Lots of people come for fresh air or just a regular stroll/walk. The area is good, has lots of se...
