Macau Tower facing the sea
This is the traditional venue for the Macao International Fireworks Display Contest, where fireworks rise from the sea and bloom in the night sky, creating a magnificent spectacle against the backdrop of Macao's urban landscape.
The Macao International Fireworks Display Contest is a free public event; spectators can enjoy the fireworks display without purchasing tickets. Of course, there are also numerous tourism products available to enhance your fireworks viewing experience.
Purchase a ticket to the observation deck of the Macau Tower to enjoy a panoramic view of the fireworks display.
Located on the 60th floor of the Macau Tower, the 360° revolving restaurant offers a buffet dinner, with a designated time slot for the fireworks display. Guests can enjoy a variety of Chinese and Western dishes and stunning views while easily watching the fireworks at 9:00 PM and 9:40 PM, creating a visually and culinary feast in the sky. It is perfect for couples, families, or gatherings with friends.
The "Skywalk" activity on the outdoor platform of the Macau Tower's 61st floor allows adventurous individuals to enjoy panoramic views of Macau from high above. Participants are suspended by a safety system, stepping outside the observation deck and standing 233 meters in the air overlooking the fireworks display against the night sky. This is not only a visual feast but also a heart-pounding thrill. Early bird discounts and special effects glasses are often offered on-site.
Take a convertible sightseeing bus and watch the fireworks display on the way, eliminating crowds and no need to find a fixed location. The whole journey takes about 1 hour, along the shoreline shuttle through the night view of the Hao River, flexible and comfortable, suitable for viewers who do not want to crowd standing in the crowd. However, note that the route and fireworks location arrangement on the day of the performance, the bus will not stop, with mobile viewing features.
Golden Light Airlines has launched a sea viewing route designed specifically for the fireworks display, which takes about 70–105 minutes from Taipa Ferry Terminal and passes through landmarks such as the Macau Bridge, Science Museum and Lotus Garden.

Each show lasts approximately 18 minutes. Brazil is participating for the first time, while South Korea, Japan, Portugal, and the United Kingdom are making their debut in Macao. The other companies have participated multiple times, highlighting Macao's advantages as an international exchange platform. Fireworks performances by Chinese and Portuguese companies will be arranged on National Day, October 1st, to add to the festive atmosphere; a performance will also be held on the evening of the Mid-Autumn Festival to celebrate family reunion.
