And then you write it with a softer brush, in a more artistic way, with a dynamic brushwork. Join us at Köpenicker Str. 40-41 for a hands-on experience in creating beautiful calligraphy pieces. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, this workshop is perfect for anyone looking to improve their calligraphy skills. Our expert instructors will guide you through various techniques to help you master the art of brush calligraphy. Don't miss out on this opportunity to unleash your creativity and learn a new skill! Lecturer: Saiu Minagawa, Shihan-Master of calligraphy, was born in Tokyo and started to learn calligraphy at the age of nine. She has received awards at the Mainichi Shodo Exhibition, the largest calligraphy exhibition of its kind in Japan. Since she moved to Berlin in 2013, she has been teaching calligraphy and conducting workshops for individuals, schools and companies, as well as creating calligraphy pieces for individual and business clients. Currently, she is a member of the Mainichi Shodo Association and an associate member of the Sogen Shodokai Organization (both based in Tokyo) and studying under Sokyu Nagamori, a Master of Calligraphy.
