When the High Line opened 15 years ago as the nation's first elevated park, it was a pivotal moment in landscape architecture. Join Lisa Switkin, partner at Field Operations, the landscape architects who designed the High Line, as she explores outdoor architecture, environmental adaptation, and urban revitalization post-Covid. Field Operations’ work (exhibited internationally including at the Venice Biennale) includes China’s Taopu Central Park, the Berkely Space Center, NBC Universal, and (pictured) Tongva Park, featured in Barbie. A member of the board of the Urban Design Forum, Switkin is committed to improving cities through creative design and addressing issues like social equity. A recipient of the Rome Prize, Switkin speaks about landscape architecture at such venues as the Guggenheim. A Barbie film clip (and more) will be included in this visually stunning presentation by one of the top landscape architectural firms in the world. 這裏也是紐約很火的元氣城市步道，橫跨十幾條街，從17街至30街，兩旁是紐約的各式摩天大樓，站在高地公園，還可以遠眺紐約的新地標Little Island，感覺這個新地標，遠遠地眺望會比登島遊覽更為壯觀，高地公園中也有各式綠植設計，站在橋上，可以看到橋下川流不息的車流和人潮。公園旁也有不少咖啡廳和座椅，走累了可以坐下來欣賞獨特的紐約城市風景，感覺這邊的節奏也比紐約城市慢很多，時間和步伐在這邊都不自覺的慢了下來

在大都會藝術博物館迷路是種幸福&mdash;&mdash;轉過羅馬立柱突然撞見埃及丹鐸神廟，尼羅河的水汽彷彿還凝結在砂岩上。在中國展廳的《溪岸圖》前駐足良久，水墨山壑間似乎能聽見范寬筆下的松濤。最奇妙的是在歐洲盔甲館，某個騎士面甲上仍殘留着1547年的刻痕，而隔壁現代廳的賈科梅蒂雕塑正以相似的嶙峋姿態與之對話。閉館時坐在階梯大廳聽即興鋼琴，暮光透過玻璃穹頂灑在羅丹的《地獄之門》上，忽然覺得整座博物館像艘載着人類文明的方舟，而每個展品都是停泊時的錨點。

紐約現代藝術博物館

在MoMA五樓初見《星月夜》真跡，梵高的漩渦比想象中更洶湧，彷彿能聽見顏料在畫布上咆哮。穿過裝置藝術區時，被草間彌生的無限鏡屋吞沒&mdash;&mdash;鏡中千萬個自己的倒影在光點里浮沉，瞬間失了時空。當代展廳里杜尚的小便池依然戲謔，而旁邊放着遊客吃剩的蘋果核。最感動的是在休息區看見白髮老人臨摹蒙德里安，顫抖的筆觸里藏着二十世紀的餘溫。

中央公園

在中央公園的綿長小徑慢跑，每一步都踩在城市的呼吸節拍上。畢士達噴泉邊彈吉他的少年，琴弦間流淌着《想象》的旋律，與馬車嘚嘚聲奇妙交融。在草莓園那片星形馬賽克前，總有人放下沾露的玫瑰，空氣里飄着洋蔥熱狗和青草混合的氣息。最愛的是弓橋附近的溜冰場，看初學者摔成雪糰子，而天際線在樹梢后靜默如剪影&mdash;&mdash;這座鋼鐵森林里，原來藏着片會心跳的綠洲。
