Discover the art of ballet at the "Intro to Ballet Workshop for Adults" led by experienced dancer and teacher Ellie Goudie-Averill. During this immersive workshop, you will have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of ballet, explore the intricacies of the body, and ask any questions you may have. Ellie Goudie-Averill, a renowned dance artist and educator, brings her expertise and passion to guide you through this enriching experience. With a background in working with dancers of all ages, Goudie-Averill has collaborated with Tori Lawrence + Co. for a decade, specializing in dance films and site-specific performances. She is currently teaching at Amherst, Smith, and Keene State Colleges, and is excited to choreograph a new dance piece with students at Mount Holyoke during Fall 2023.
