About this Event In this beginning course you will learn the basics of screenprinting. Participants will bring a prepared image and we will provide all the materials, tools and training. Learn the protocol of our printshop and darkroom, as well as health and safety standards for screenprinting. Turn your one-color image into a screen and print an edition of posters, greeting cards or even t-shirts! With the completion of this beginner course, students will be prepared to take more specialized, intermediate courses. Students may also choose to take this beginner course again with a personalized emphasis on multilayer printing. Our classroom environment is welcoming to all skill levels and we strive to make our shop accessible to new and experienced printers alike. A materials fee covers paper, ink, use of a screen, and other consumables. An outline of the workshop and materials list can be found at https://tinyurl.com/sboxscreenprint. Please note: Masking is now encouraged, but optional in the studio space. Individuals who feel uncomfortable using the space with others unmasked, whether for health or any other reason, are welcome to request mask wearing while they are using the studio space. About the Instructor Rachel Gordon is an artist and musician from Brooklyn, New York. Since earning a BFA in Printmaking from SUNY Purchase in 2015, she has maintained a studio practice with an emphasis on screenprinting and collage. Cost $80 for Current Members/$90 for Non-Members Plus a $10 materials fee that covers ink, paper, screen, emulsion, and use of our equipment.

這個博物館是賓大創建經營的博物館，需要購票参觀，人不多，估計購票收入只能補貼一部分經營成本。地鐵公交都可到達，地鐵需走路十分鐘左右。博物館門口有個帶噴泉的小花園，繞過花園進入博物館大廳，前台服務人員掃票后就可参觀了。左手邊的埃及館在裝修，一些埃及文物移到了了二樓。一樓右手邊展廳從兩河流域蘇美爾文明開始講起，各種文物各個王國娓娓道來。二樓穹頂中廳里是來自亞洲尤其是中國的文物，有來自咸陽昭陵六駿中的兩匹浮雕馬匹。在這麼遠的地方看到家鄉的文物很令人感慨。二樓左手邊大廳是古希臘羅馬文物。東西很多，擺放密集。整個博物館佔地面積不大，但對各個古文明介紹詳盡，值得一看。

感覺費城的市中心的景點真的很優秀，自由鍾附近這一片古迹統一歸National Park負責管理，在自由鐘的對面便是一個大型的遊客中心，在這裏可以諮詢到費城的旅遊攻略，這邊的工作人員和志願者也都非常熱情的幫忙給旅遊建議和回答諮詢問題。在這邊也有個小型的紀念品商店，可以買到冰箱貼、本子、明信片等相關的費城紀念品。遊客中心中還設有展覽講解，雖然相比博物館會比較迷你袖珍，但是依舊不影響這邊的遊客數量，如果是自駕前來，獨立宮遊客中心的地下還設有停車場可以供大家停車。費城的市中心雖然停車不太方便，停車位也不是很好找，推薦大家來遊客中心的地下停車場來停車。如果是旺季前來，獨立宮的参觀門票是需要先來遊客中心申請領取的，不過不知道是不是疫情的緣故，前來的時候並不需要拿票，直接進入参觀就可

自由鍾

自由鐘的名氣自然不用多說，感覺跟獨立宮一樣可以成為費城景點的必打卡之處，好像每一次來費城，也會儀式性的重複進行打卡。兩者距離也很近，步行過馬路就是，展廳免費開放給公眾参觀，不需要購買門票，獨立宮需要提前在官網進行預訂，1元的門票預訂費。自由鍾是有獨立的一個参觀展廳，入口需要過安檢。可以近距離遊覽，可走到自由鐘面前，之前是可以環繞360度，但這次前來只開放了180度，另外一半攔住了，不過這樣的好處便是可以解鎖一個背景無人的自由鍾。自由鍾原本是獨立宮的宮殿中，而後由於鐘體開裂，才被陳列於草坪上的紀念館中。這次在遊客中心的展示台還虛席到了另一知識點，1752年運到費城時便初現了裂縫，而後經過幾次修補還是有裂縫，於是便放棄了對其的修整。而1776年7月4日敲響的也正是這個鐘。自由鍾也經歷了幾次遷移，雖然每次搬遷的位置都不遠，但人們還是擔心會有更嚴重的裂縫，還給鍾裝上了可以測試百萬分之一米移動的微變量位移傳感器，測試其是否適合搬遷，每一次遊覽好像都會解鎖不一樣的小知識點，這大概也是旅遊的一大樂趣吧。

費城曾經是美國的首都，因此城市周圍有大量的歷史、博物館、紀念碑和遺址。費城藝術博物館擁有一系列精美的展品。我是在周五晚上下班後參觀的，因為週五晚上博物館免費入場（隨意付費）。我在他們的車庫付了停車費，只要 5 美元。
