Scenic Areas to Visit: Lingyan Rock + Fangdong Scenic Area (Lingyan Rock and Fangdong Cave)

Climbing Difficulty: Average. Most guides recommend ascending Fangdong Rock, but the descent (about 2 hours) is quite knee-wrenching. Lingyan Rock isn&#39;t too challenging, with no steep inclines. Climbing the mountain gives you a sense of sudden enlightenment.
Scenic Review: The best views are along the Woyun Plank Road, which is truly stunning, with its uniquely shaped mountains and rocks. If you don&#39;t have time to visit Dalongqiu, Xiaolongqiu is also a good option. Don&#39;t go to Yangtian Lake; the name is deceptive; it&#39;s just an artificial pool. Tianxin Pavilion offers great views, but the climb is difficult and not recommended for those with limited stamina.
Scenic Area Review: There&#39;s a free bus from the train station to the tourist center, which is great. The center offers free luggage storage, which is also a plus. However, the scenic area&#39;s transportation system is poor, likely due to the narrow roads, and wait times can be long on holidays.

Accommodation is limited and can be very tight due to the high number of people. During National Day, it&#39;s almost always fully booked, and room rates are quite high, two or three times higher than normal. The island&#39;s three most important attractions are Dasha&#39;ao Beach, Sanpanwei, and the aquarium, so it&#39;s best to choose one of these three for convenient accommodation. Food is a bit pricey on the island, with vegetarian dishes generally around 30 yuan per serving and seafood dishes around 80 yuan. Large yellow croaker is the most expensive, costing over 100 or 200 yuan per head in many places.
