The sun is shining, and I came to the Sichuan Art Museum with anticipation. The art museum is located in the center of Chengdu, opposite Tianfu Square, and the traffic is very convenient. From afar, the building of the gallery is unique, the whole like a horizontal ground &quot;ruyi&quot;, composed of polygon main building and rectangular annex building, the slope roof of the annex building, from the front looks like a slow pull-out curtain, full of modern sense and artistic atmosphere. Entering the gallery, the spacious and bright hall gives a solemn and peaceful feeling. There is a calligraphy and painting exhibition in the museum. A beautiful painting is displayed in the exhibition hall. There are magnificent landscape paintings, delicate and vivid characters, and a charming calligraphy works. I stopped in front of each work, carefully appreciated, felt the emotions and artistic conception of the artists, as if they had a dialogue across time and space. Here, time seems to slow down, people are intoxicated, forgetting the noise of the outside world. After the exhibition, I also went to the cafe in the gallery to take a break, order a cup of fragrant coffee, and enjoy a moment of comfort in the artistic atmosphere. This trip to Sichuan Art Museum, let me harvest quite rich, not only admired many excellent art works, but also felt the charm and cultural heritage of art, it is an unforgettable art trip.

The centre is large and easy to get around, and the shuttle bus is convenient, though it requires a small extra fee. However, the panda habitats were disappointing due to poor noise control. Many kids were screaming, and neither parents nor safety guards intervened. There was also construction work right next to the panda area, which is very unsuitable given how sensitive pandas are to noise. Better management of the environment is needed.

A very exotic historical project. Very nice scenery and environment to walk and stroll. However, there are many commercial tour guides touting for their service at the entrance. Otherwise, the environment is tremendous to relax for a holiday

If you are a Chinese literature and poetry buff this is a place that is a &ldquo;must visit&rdquo;. Walls adorned with poetry and beautifully manicured gardens. Grounds are walkable and accurately reconstructed according to Du Fu&rsquo;s poetry and writing. for families with young kids with a limited grasp of Chinese and Chinese literature (such as mine) - I would strongly strongly suggest going to People&rsquo;s Park instead. Nevertheless, we burned many calories carrying the youngest one around the gardens while we dragged the rest behind us on a frosty cold morning. 😬 Tips: the map was not accurate and made us quite confused. audio guides not helpful as there were English translations on the boards for most areas. As of December 2025 - there is massive construction going on at the main road around this site - good luck trying to get your didi driver to drop you at the correct spot. 😵&zwj;💫 on the bright side there will be a new subway hopefully by 2026! Chengdu progresses at an impressive pace.

What a peaceful way to start the morning. We entered the shrine at around 9am and its was still relatively quiet. It was way bigger than we thought so plenty to explore. Our favourite was the bonsai trees section

Mount Qingcheng is definitely worth visiting if you enjoy nature, culture, and a peaceful atmosphere. Compared to many famous mountains in China, it feels calm and refreshing rather than crowded or rushed. The mountain is covered in lush greenery, and walking through the forest paths is relaxing from start to finish.One of the highlights is the Taoist culture. Temples like Jianfu Palace, Tianshi Cave, and Shangqing Palace are beautifully integrated into the mountain and add a quiet, spiritual feeling to the journey. Even if you&rsquo;re not deeply interested in religion, the scenery and history are still very enjoyable.The trails are well maintained and suitable for most fitness levels. I recommend going in the morning for cooler weather and fewer people. Wear comfortable shoes and take your time&mdash;this is a place to slow down and enjoy the surroundings.Overall, Mount Qingcheng is perfect for travelers who want nature, history, and a relaxing escape from the city.
