1. Guangxingli is the northern section of Zhongshan Road Commercial Street. Zhongshan Road is the oldest and most famous commercial street in Qingdao. It was founded in the 23rd year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty (1897) during the German occupation. It is the original city center of Qingdao. It is 1,500 meters long and covers an area of ​​417,000 square meters. It is divided into two sections by Dexian Road. The southern section is Feidili Street where European and American expatriates live, and was formerly known as Qingdao Street and European District; the northern section is Baodao District where Chinese people live, and was formerly known as the Chinese District and the main road. Hello! Here&rsquo;s my perspective as a foreigner. I visited Laoshan in October, when the weather was neither too hot nor too cold &mdash; perfect for hiking. The journey from the city center to Laoshan is quite long, so we opted for a Didi (online taxi), which was more comfortable and cost around 100&ndash;130 RMB (about $16.7). To reach the summit, you can take a cable car and then hike for about 30&ndash;45 minutes to get to the main peak. From there, you&rsquo;ll be rewarded with breathtaking views. Overall, Laoshan, a 5A-rated tourist attraction in China, is absolutely worth visiting!
