MMama CheetahWe ended up at the Daytona Grande after the Hilton Oceanfront overbooked and we were on our way with no place to stay! Admittedly not the safest, but I had to book this place while driving from the Orlando airport and just looking for something that wasn’t a total dive but still decently priced without a ton of extra fees. No free breakfast here which is something I especially appreciate as a family of 6, but in this case it was just me and my teenage son in town for an archery championship. After the highly stressful day of travel we had, the Grande was like a little slice of Heaven! It was clean, quiet, and beautiful. We decided after having to skip lunch with flight delays and all that, we just wanted a good meal and a good bed and we got exactly that. My son and I split truffle fries to start, the crusted crab filet, and beignets for dessert. All were wonderful (and we’re from Dallas where there is no shortage of excellent food) and enjoyed Oceanside on the dimly lit quiet patio. My only criticism is that the tables should be turned perpendicularly to the ocean and hotel so that everyone at the table gets a view of both rather than one facing a wall while the other faces the ocean.
Rooms were nicely decorated, had comfortable, intuitive lighting, handy USB plugs, and most importantly REALLY COMFORTABLE BEDS! We have a Tempurpedic at home so my sleep is usually pretty abysmal at hotels. Now, this wasn’t as comfy as home, but I slept hard and woke without being sore since the bed was genuinely comfortable.
My only complaints about the room were that the window sheers, while stylish, really gave no privacy at all, so if you wanted privacy you had to sacrifice light. Water pressure wasn’t great and the bathroom needed more towel bars and hooks. This would’ve been way more of a nuisance with the whole family, but they also came midday and restocked towels and made up the beds, which we see less and less of these days, even at nice hotels in the name of being “green”. But it was spacious and clean and otherwise nicely equipped.
Elevators were fast and never held us up. Beach access from the elevator was nice as we didn’t have to walk through the lobby in swimsuits. Parking was slightly inconvenient being caddy corner across the street, but not bad at all. We considered but didn’t try room service mainly due to price and unknown wait (when we had tournament times to consider) but the little shop/cafe in the lobby was great and convenient and priced about as you’d expect (pricey, but not too ridiculous). We got coffee and breakfast sandwiches both days.
I think the biggest issue with this place is the visibility. It’s tall to be sure so you’re not going to miss it, but the entrance and signage is on the far side and behind a little aqua building (I think called Sand Dunes) which had to be apartments or a teeny hotel that I can only assume refused to sell to the Grande in development so the Grande built around it. It keeps it from having the opulent entrance that the Hilton does

RRebeccataotao定這個酒店完全因為是送快通。酒店服務真的令人無語！第一晚我們沒買水，所以開了房間裏放的水，8刀一瓶，喝了一半。晚上回房間發現，剩一半的水不見了，找了一圈都沒有。8刀一瓶，剩一半的水未經我同意就給我扔了或者拿走了實在是過分！最後説是他們的失誤，這瓶水不收費了。另外，離店的時候去退房，前台跟我們説沒有消費，不用辦退房，直接離店就行，我們就走了，之後收到郵件，被收了20多刀的費用，經過攜程詢問説是我們在他們酒廊喝了一瓶酒？？？我們都早出晚歸，沒有在酒店用餐過，簡直令人無語！到現在600刀的費用還沒退給我。
這裏點名表揚攜程的客服，在丟水和莫名扣費事件上幫我們和酒店溝通問詢，並且先行賠付了

訪訪客我們住得很好,我們在房間裏只是爲了睡覺,所以沒有大抱怨。游泳池很小,很擁擠,但那裏有一個完整的海灘可以享受。
不能抱怨我們爲海灘前線付出的代價。☺️

訪訪客The unit was beautiful but it needs a little bit of maintenance. Little things to fix to make it perfect. Iron board but no iron dish liquid but no sponge patio seat plastic and broken . The patio door verticals missing slabs . No window treatments to avoid bright light in the morning. Is these are fix it would be nice

하루 숙박하는데 보증금을 두번이나 결제해 놓고
그래도 취소 될거 같아서 안심하고 체크 아웃했는데 ..
(미국은 거의 셀프 체크아웃임)
일주일 지나고 보니 400달러 넘는돈이 카드결제에 넘어와있음
너무 황당함 😡😡에픽유니버셜에서 먹고 논거 바로 결게하고 호텔에서 0원도 쓴고 없는데 !!!!!트립닷컴에서 적극적으로 대응해주고 있어서 기다리고 있어요 ㅠ

HHuadaqian能在Ocean Drive上找到一家有陽台，躺在床上就能看日出的酒店真的不容易。而且這個房型在酒店自己官網都刷不出來！
雖然酒店設施不是最新的，但這個位置我覺得實在是太棒了。
前台服務人員非常熱情友善，讓我們的生日之旅充滿了驚喜和歡樂。
