A must-visit landmark in Xi'an. Climb to the top of the bell tower before it gets dark and enjoy the panoramic view. The lights come on after dark, which is beautiful. But if the tower is lit up, you should definitely take photos from the opposite side; it's truly stunning.

Great and a must see. It wasn’t very easy finding the entrance as the tower access is underground, but it’s a must see when you’re in Xi’An! Be prepared as it does get VERY crowded!

I remember buying an entrance ticket for 30 yuan, but now it's only 10 yuan!! (The price at the entrance is the same.) So, if you want a paper ticket as a souvenir, you can buy it at the entrance. But if you want convenience, I recommend Trip. It's very convenient and you don't have to queue.

The Wild Goose Pagoda soars into the clouds, overlooking the past and present; the chanting of Buddhist scriptures still carries the sounds of the Tang Dynasty. In this fleeting life, one can find refuge in a tranquil realm, where a wisp of sandalwood incense imprints a Zen-like heart.

it's a good place to walk around and imagine how utterly grand this place was which used to be the center of the civilization. The place was huge and educational with remains of the foundations of various halls. Visit the museum, then have a nice leisurely stroll

The place is very big, you require at least 3 hrs to visit all of the site. There are the palace ruin, the museum and miniature palace.

This place is very big, we took about at least 2-3 hours to see museum and ruin palace. It's recommended for those who love archeology. From my opinion the ticket price and electric car ticket is quite over-price comparing to the other museum I had visited in Xian.

The Daming Palace Ruins can be reached by taking the subway to Hanyuan Hall Station, from where it's a short walk. The park itself is open to the public and admission is free, but the two museums require an entrance fee, and electric carts are necessary for getting around due to the large size of the park. The museums also have fewer exhibits compared to other museums.

We couldn't get tickets to the big Shaanxi History Museum so we decided to visit this. Ticket by specific time slot is free to reserve via Trip.com. At the museum, need to exchange to paper tickets (by showing ID, entered during booking). The Museum is in a big park with Small Wild Goose Pagoda and several other scenic buildings (temples, exhibition halls). It's a lovely park to walk around in. There's a place to write wishes and ring a bell for anyone interested, We spent time walking around the park before going into the museum. It's a good and smallish museum, with more artifacts from the around the regions. Captions are in Chinese and English. There are some extra exhibition (3D) which we didn't go to.The park is a short walk from a few metro stations ; Nanshaomen (near the North Gate) and Tiyuchang (close to the Stadium). If one cannot get tickets to the Shaanxi Museum, this is good enough in my opinion.

Xian Musuem is a great musuem.Our Tour Guide is very professional and knowledgeable in China Ancient history. Her explanation is clear and easy to follow.Five rating for her excellent performance.
