Huge private dock with steps down to the white sand turquoise waters, two large sitting areas with thatch roof tiki's for shade with a sunset tiki bar that overhangs the beautiful water. Large island float with cup holders, tied off on mornings makes for never ending fun and relaxation. No need to worry about the kids because these are the bone fish flats, which means besides having incredible turquoise waters with white sand bottom, it also has no drop offs, no undertow, just enough waves to enjoy the sounds and the water is only 3-4 feet deep at it's deepest as far as you can walk or swim. No mucky sand here.Sit and read or layout on the white sand directly in front of the home when tide is low. The deck beneath the house is beautifully finished with barbecue grill and furniture to relax and eat while enjoying the beautiful view and breezes. Take your family out on our THREE double kayaks or our TWO stand up paddle boards for an adventure and explore the island cays that are part of your view, or bring your fishing pole to fish in the worlds best bone fishing waters that are your front yard. Aqua Vista is wonderfully semi secluded and quiet, with the ocean breezes through the whispering pines and waves gently crashing on the shore being all that you hear. We do have a house next door now, but they are their maybe twice a year and are very quiet.Aqua Vista is also only 8 to 10 minutes drive to Georgetown where you can find all the restaurants, stores and activities you could want. It is 2 miles from our house to Queens Highway and then 1.7 miles to Exuma Market downtown. Take a boat tour, take a scuba/snorkel charter, do water sports, go deep sea fishing, or rent your own boat and keep it at the house on our mooring. Eat at the wonderful local restaurants, go grocery shopping, souvenir shopping or drive the island to explore the many world class beautiful beaches.Exuma in an hour or less direct flight from Miami or Fort Lauderdale, or a little longer flight direct from Atlanta, Charlotte and Toronto.Car rental and taxis are available at the airport. Uber is not on the island and taxis are hit and miss, we suggest everyone rent a car. We always get our cars from Thompsons right at the airport. Roads are narrow and you will be driving on the left so just take your time and be careful.The roads in Exuma are rough(third world Issues) and the back roads to our places has 3/4 of the way better with brand new black top. The last 1/4 mile of going slow is worth the effort. The island runs on 2 generators and every few days the power can turn off for a short time. We have put in Solar and it seems to have fixed the problem.This is our 2nd home and we always want our renters to communicate with us about any and all things. So please ask us anything and we will do our best to make this as memorable as we can. Aqua Vista is relaxing, beautiful and more than just a home, it is an experience!!!
