This was a three night ‘escape’ to explore a completely new area. Broadstairs is a lovely small old fashioned resort with bracing walks, friendly people, some lovely eateries and many places to sit and watch the world go by.
Artfuls was a perfect base. Small and friendly, it is ideally located near the seafront, promenade and town centre.
The staff were all absolutely lovely, extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area and good places to eat.
Our room was quirky but comfortable with everything we needed. Breakfasts were excellent and unhurried. There was easy parking nearby.
I readily recommend Artfuls to any couples wishing to enjoy a relaxed break in a lovely place.

酒店嚴格要求下午3點入住。不幸的是,這是最熱的一天,我們的房間號朝西,沸騰的。空調在房間裏不起作用,工作人員不得不放3個風扇和便攜式空調,但做得不多。晚上回來時,我們的房間仍然沸騰,測量了28攝氏度。女經理很樂於助人,但她無能爲力,以幫助冷卻房間。酒店很友善,可以在退房時提供50%的房價。

位置優越,距離坎特伯雷中心僅一箭之遙。我們的主人很可愛,非常親切和熱情。
早餐不吃飽,很基本。價格裏包含的,所以真的不能抱怨。
雖然維護房間的黑鬼似乎在優先級列表中不幸地被列入了。
冰箱不起作用。
電視周圍有塑料框架破裂。遠程沒有連接到電視。但是,一旦你先發現不工作的東西,你可以手動打開電視。
牀邊的抽屜有把手,一直脫落。
浴室裏沒有水槽插頭。你必須是一個扭曲者才能在浴室的鏡子裏看到,它本來可以更好地定位在相鄰的牆壁上。
這也是一個小小的問題,所有的電動裝置都必須插入一個跟蹤板。
話雖如此,儘管所有的黑鬼,它並沒有阻止我們在坎特伯雷度過一個可愛的週末,位置與桑吉瓦的熱情好客一起彌補了這一點。

位置好，但是沒有升降機的，運送行李不方便，我住在4樓的九號房，所以沒搬運太多行李上去，還有我是自駕的，需要搵附近地方泊車。我book的是基礎房。沖涼要去樓下的。不推介在這裏租房如果揸車。

我作為酒店從業者真是很佩服Alex可以把家庭旅館打理的這麼完美！ 這條評語不是寫下簡單的乾淨整潔,服務好,位置好就可以表達我的感受的！我想説的是佈置的很有特色，很有藝術氣息，充分利用了所有資源但是不擁擠，處處體現出經營者的高品味和用心經營！在旅遊業尚未復甦之際Alex為客人提供的各種食品飲料體驗了他極大的善意！所以這是一個高度值得推薦的家庭旅館！我還會再回來！
As a hotel practitioner, I really admire Alex for managing his family hotel so perfectly! This comment is not just about being clean, tidy, good service and good location to express my feelings! What I want to say is that the layout is very unique and artistic, making full use of all resources but not crowded, and reflecting the high taste and careful management of the operator everywhere! Alex's great kindness in providing guests with various food and beverages when the tourism industry has not yet recovered!
So this is a highly recommended family hotel! I will come back again! Thanks Alex!

XXRMThis was genuinely a wonderful and most special place.
The Rocksalt Rooms are in a separate building to the Restaurant - but you check in at the latter and walk you over. Note all the streets here are cobbled, which can be slippery when wet.
They are a real BoltHole as they are described, and there are only four total. 2 on 1st floor, 2 on 2nd floor, with one per floor harbour facing. I'd definitely suggest that the upgrade is worth it.
The rooms are compact but exceptionally well presented. I've odd little niggles, theres no bedside of any kind - floating shelf would work, where do you put your mobile? And the metal bed frame is ornate and was loose on the footboard.
The biggest challenge is where to put things. There are a few hangers on the back of the door and a small set of hooks, but not a drawer or proper place at all. I get space is a real premium here - bedside with 2 drawers all you need!
The wet room is compact as everyone says. You won't keep the floor area outside the shower dry, it's not possible. The sink is a corner one with no space to place things but there is shelf in the bathroom for all your luxuries. The body wash / conditioner / hand soap / hand moisturiser are great quality.
Noise - it's by the Harbour so they start early, but for us it was part of the charm of the location, the fresh fish smell was totally incredible.
Breakfast is not to be missed, across in the restaurant with the best view, it's harbour side. Loved the granola, yoghurt, compote starter. I had English Breakfast as I was hungry, it was great quality but disappoining - it was more style over substance. The bacon is cooked to crispy, not my style at all but great quality. He had the Salmon & Eggs and it won hands down. Local, fresh, decent portion, on wonderful Sourdough. Luckily I was saved a bite.
A point or two more - the bedside light fused the circuit and the room was plunged into darkness. Looked for fuse box, could not find. Ended up in Restsurant. They had to get keys to a location they used to own but don't now (ground floor of the Rooms building). This took a while as the keys had to be obtained. I get how this used to work, but not now - the fuse box needs moving. The if we cant fix option was check out and refund - erm no!!
There is the most incredible Team member behind the Bar/ Restaurant from Bulgaria whose name I have really tsckily forgotten. For which I apologise.
She is truly wonderful and made the visit for me, id return solely to see her again!!!
Overall we loved Rocksalt Rooms and would return, to have dinner in the restaurant too!

Yyat tzeAlthough the customer service is hard to contsct including the so called emergency number. After telling trip.com the owner finally picked up my calls. This is a Sherlock Holmes style game so that you can earn the super privilege to live inside. ON THE OPPOSITE OF THE DOOR BELL , THERE IS A SECRET BOX..... After being given a few wrong passwords and a few wrong secret box number, I could finally enter the Sherlock Holmes Manion and finally enter my room which has an ensuite toilet and bath room. The house and the room are excellent , protected by 24 hour cctv camera I would recommend this one especially if you like Sherlock Holmes.

訪訪客週末我住了幾個晚上,房間很大,有一張雙人牀和一張單人牀,乾淨有電視,咖啡和茶。浴室很乾淨,有頭頂淋浴的浴缸。房間在主幹道上,但不太吵,週六晚上在大樓的前面和周圍停車的空間,他們在地面上有一個馬奎爾,音樂很響亮,但11點就走了,所以沒有打擾我的睡眠。酒吧看起來不錯,用餐區和tge食物聞起來很好聞,但我在那裏爲朋友燒烤,所以沒有在那裏吃,肯定會再呆在那裏。
