I was charged $85.98 for a stay I did not use. I made the reservation with Days Inn reservations directly and was assured by the Reservation agent this particular Days Inn had an airport shuttle we had a flight delay and needed a room just for seven hours so it was imperative we had a shuttle to and from the airport. Once the reservation was made the agent transferred me directly to the hotel to request airport pick up where I was informed they did not have a shuttle. I asked them to please cancel the reservation as I needed a shuttle. There was no nonrefundable issue because I had made the reservation around 10 PM and inform them immediately on the same phone call I was not going to be able to use the reservation. To my dismay I was charged The full price of the room so I called the hotel directly and the receptionist said she would speak with the manager and get back with me when I never received a call back I called again and they said I could leave a message for the manager which I did and again no response so I called again and was told the manager was not in so I asked for an email address and sent an email to get this resolved. I never leave negative reviews, But I feel this is blatant thievery and very poor customer service if I cannot even get a reply or someone to speak with me instead of dodging phone calls. I would never stay here because this is a good indication of character and customer service at this establishment.

The room is clean and the service is good, however, they are still hiding behind the ”we cant service your room because of Covid” excuse. Which is now an old record especially as many hotels have got back to full service. The thing which really lit me up was after a 4 day stay for $570, ”It is against company policy to call a taxi for the airport” however they will give you a number, which my UK cell was having problems to connect with. I asked if I could use the desk phone and make the call myself, ”no we cant do that either”. I had to call a colleague who I knew had a US cell as well at UK to call me a taxi. VERY DISAPPOINTING END TO THE TRIP.

We booked reservations in August for a four night stay starting September 20 this year. We arrived after 10pm and went to the office where there were several people talking to an employee. Everyone was told that the hotel was full up and no rooms were available. I advised we had a reservation, the employee advised that we would get a refund for the cancellation. My husband asked if it was going to be a full refund, he said yes a full refund and closed the door in our faces. I contacted the company we booked the hotel stay through and they advised that the hotel management is not taking responsibility for refunding our funds. I called the hotel directly and was transferred several times. I filed a ”formal complaint” with their customer service department (Mario) but when I called back to check on the refund progress i was shuttled around a bunch, told there was no complaint filed and put on hold for over ten minutes. All we asked for was return of our hotel funds when THEY cancelled our reservation. Never going to Choose Red Roof Inn in any way shape or form in the future
