Always be my top choice in Jakarta! Very high accessible and located. Staff are friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was so detail minded to prepare an extra box tissue for me. They also upgraded my room with park view. You won’t regret to stay here.
Just one thing can be improved is the lift waiting time, prepare extra waiting time.

The location is wonderful for business trip , there are shopping malls connected that provides wide range of food. The view of the hotel is very good too.
The front desk staff is helpful and you will be notified by sms when the room is ready. The room is using glass bottle water that would be more environment friendly for travellers.

I was so impressed by the hospitality, the size of the room, and the overall service of Holiday Inn Gajah Mada. The breakfast selection was diverse and super yummy. The staff was also incredibly attentive in changing your plates and ensuring you had a clean slate when you go for another round of selecting your meals.
My only issue is although they had a huge flat screen tv, they didn’t provide an HDMI cord for me to truly enjoy it. The tv wasn’t a smart tv either. I took it upon myself to just buy one in the nearby mall, and everything went smoothly after.
The standard king was huge, and since I had a corner suite, I had a wonderful view of the sunrise. Their pool was also nice, it’s more family-friendly but I found it charming despite being a solo traveler. I wish I extended my stay!

My stay here was absolutely fantastic! The hotel's location is superb – right next to the subway station, making it incredibly convenient to get anywhere. The room was clean and spacious, with soft, comfortable bedding that ensured a wonderful night's sleep. The staff were warm, professional, and provided attentive service from check-in to check-out. They even proactively offered great recommendations for local eateries. Breakfast offered a wide variety and was delicious. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to this city!

Good enough for a four star hotel but a little too aggressive on the sustainability movement. Every day I have to ask for hand towels because after housekeeping, no hand towels will be provided. It's a little annoying. But not a showstopper.

Lovely staff… good location near to old town… got a room upgrade… which was much appreciated…do be aware of taxi fares from Airport…. It cost us 500 on the way to the hotel and only 150 on the way back!

The staff were friendly. The location was great, right next to a mall, making it really easy to find food. The room was spacious and the AC worked perfectly, keeping it nice and cool. However, the towels had a strong, unpleasant smell, like mothballs or a wardrobe freshener. Also, the toilet paper roll was almost empty and should have been replaced. The breakfast spread was extensive and definitely left us feeling full! 😁

The hotel was clean and had a great breakfast spread with plenty of options. The staff were friendly and polite overall. However, the front desk lady during check-in seemed a bit disinterested, yawning twice while serving me and barely making eye contact, giving the impression she was more focused on the desk than the guest.

Staying one night in this convenient location: as described by the other reviewers, the hotel is quite old but clean. Rooms are spacious too.

Been staying at this hotel for past many years. Staffs have been always polite and helpful, bed is comfortable as usual. Cleanliness has been improved from early post pandemic time, but sink need to be further sanitized because still have some bad smell 😅

Was a lovely hotel to stay in. My room could’ve been a little cleaner just in the tiny details like corners of shelves and the bathroom screen. However they checked me in early, offer a free ice cream/ ice lolly on arrival and the rooms were lovely. Not sure about the transparent pool though! I felt very self conscious being directly above the lobby!

We stayed for a short transit from Penang to our hometown. The rooms were little bit small but still enjoyable. The location was strategic. Near hotel there were some restos in walking distance. The hotel has a swimming pool above the receptionist floor. The staffs were nice and helpful for our GoFood orders.
