Our stay was almost excellent. The hotel property is beautifully maintained, offers picturesque views, and provides ample access to a variety of water activities, which we greatly appreciated. However, one aspect that impacted our enjoyment was the swimming pool's limited operating hours. With sessions only from 9:00-11:45 AM and 1:00-6:00 PM, it was unfortunately not possible to enjoy an early morning swim before breakfast or a late afternoon swim. This schedule does not accommodate the common preference, especially in warmer climates, for swimming when the sun is less intense, such as before 9:00 AM or after 6:00 PM. That noted, the hotel staff were consistently courteous and professional. Furthermore, the breakfast service was outstanding, featuring an extensive selection of delicious and expertly prepared dishes. In summary, while the pool hours were a significant drawback, the overall quality of the accommodations, dining, and service was commendable.

The location is great, just 200 meters from University MTR station. Our mountain-view room was on the side facing the railway tracks, but the soundproofing was excellent; we barely heard any noise. The room itself was very spacious and bright, and the hygiene and bedding were good. In a place like Hong Kong where every inch is precious, for the same price, you'd be cramped in a tiny room in Central. I'd much rather take a few MTR stops and stay here. I'll definitely choose Hyatt Centric again next time.

This is an established chain hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, offering good privacy. To get from the parking lot to the room, you need to take two elevators and tap your card. We had a child with us who accidentally spilled milk tea on the duvet (picture 5). We reported it to the hotel, and they immediately sent staff to handle it. They said they would try to clean it first, and if successful, they wouldn't charge us a cleaning fee. In the end, we weren't charged, which shows their warm and thoughtful service. The hotel is less than a 10-minute walk from the seaside boardwalk, where you can see Shenzhen's largest Yantian Port. It's perfect for a stroll with kids. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time.

This Loft Apartment turned out to be such a charming and aesthetically appealing place, it looks like it belongs to a young magazine cover model. Even the loft itself could be a model it is so photogenic, I have like 20+ pictures of this place lol. It seems like it is designed and decorated to feel that way. It large, has a kitchen area with some glasses and utensils, a washing machine (modern) with detergents provided, 2 toilets and 1 cute shower(I’ll attach a photo of it), a big projector screen, with membership access provided, a laptop or cellphone screen could also be casted; on the first floor it has a dining place, and a big refrigerator, on the second there are 2 beds ( a double normal one, and a single tatami style one in a separate room). There is also a giant wardrobe. And there is also the view. It adds to the charm of the apartment, the sea and mountains are awesome, and the lighthouse library is clearly visible from the windows. The place smells nice, usually hotels in China get that annoying cigarette smell, if you know what I mean. In this loft it always smelled the way I wanted it to smell. Fresh and nice. The environment is this bustling noisy mall area, apparently, a famous one in this district. But I ignored all these stores and markets and just went to the seaside ( 2 minutes by foot!) and there is a beautiful walkway by the sea starting right from the lighthouse. I rely like my foggy morning sea walks haha. I recommend highly this hotel. This loft is just awesome, please, future guests, keep it that way.

From the moment I stepped into the apartment, I was attracted by its unique charm. The living room on the first floor has a spacious space, and the decoration style is simple but elegant. The fashionable furniture is arranged in a staggered manner, and the soft fabric sofa is matched with the wooden coffee table with smooth lines to create a warm and comfortable atmosphere. The most eye-catching thing in the living room is the huge floor-to-ceiling window with an exquisite bay window design in front of the window. I can't wait to walk up and gently open the window. The sea breeze is wrapped in the unique breath of the sea, and the scene in front of me is even more exciting. The vast sea is endless. Under the sunshine, the sea surface is like a huge blue satin, sparkling and shining with charming brilliance. A nice and clean hotel. Location is easy to find. The drop off and pick up point outside the lobby is street level so it is very convenient if you bring a large luggage. There is a night market at Temple street across the street. If you like dim sum for breakfast. There are two dim sum cafe near by. Value for money and very satisfied with the experience.

My flight was delayed, so I didn't get to check in until after midnight. The hotel front desk generously upgraded me to a suite, which genuinely moved me. In my decades of staying in hotels in Hong Kong, I have never experienced such wonderful treatment. We arrived late, maybe 11.30pm, but were greeted warmly and checked in smoothly. The room was small but the bed was comfortable and the environment peaceful. Shower was hot and worked well, all towels and linen were clean, toilet was clean, and the room itself clean enough. It looked like it must have been a child's bedroom once because there were glow-in-the-dark decals of planets stuck on the walls and ceiling. This room is fine if you are traveling on a budget and need somewhere to sleep and keep your things while you explore Hong Kong, location is away from the centre but metro a short walk that will take you straight to Central Station. Was a bit difficult to find down a back street.

The location is excellent, right across the street from Tin Hau MTR Station Exit A1, making transportation very convenient. You can even walk to Causeway Bay. Nearby, there's Tin Hau Temple and Victoria Park, and within a one-kilometer radius, there's a great selection of food. The room was clean; although the size can't compare to mainland hotels, it was perfectly adequate for two people. The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. There was no impolite behavior towards guests from the mainland. When I checked in, they even offered to help with my luggage, which was a very comfortable experience.

Took my kids to Hong Kong to watch the Ronaldo Saudi Super Cup final. Saw it opened in '09 and decided to take a gamble on it. Turns out, it completely exceeded my expectations! A veteran five-star hotel truly is in a league of its own. As soon as we walked in, we saw a signed Ronaldo jersey – the atmosphere was incredible! Facilities: Even though it opened in '09, it's incredibly well-maintained. Cleanliness: Spotless, absolutely nothing to complain about. Environment: No weird smells at all, a pleasant surprise. I booked this hotel three months in advance for a family visit in Hong Kong. It's very close to where my relatives live, and for Hong Kong standards, the room size is quite spacious, offering excellent value for money. It's super convenient to get to – just turn right after exiting Chai Wan MTR Station, and you're at Youth Square. We stayed on the 13th floor; although the hallway felt a bit retro, the building's facilities were great, and the air conditioning was strong. The room was clean, and both the AC and hot water worked perfectly. I particularly liked the sink. The bathroom was small, only big enough for one person; if you're a larger person, even turning around might be a bit tight. I prefer not to have housekeeping, so I kept the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on for a few days. They offer a complimentary simple breakfast from 8-10 AM. There are plenty of good eateries around, and they're generally cheaper than in the bustling city center. There's a restaurant called Tak Sing Restaurant where you can enjoy dim sum for breakfast. Overall, this hostel offers good value for money.

If you're someone especially solo traveler who travels in budget and just needs a place to sleep, i recommended this hotel. The location is in the center of the city, busses and subway easily accessible on foot, the hotel is on the 3rd floor and lift available. Considering how space is at a premium in Hong Kong, this hotel is pretty decent. Traveling solo, the single room was just right. The room even came with mainland Chinese power outlets. The host was very friendly and quick to respond to messages. It was also easy to find. The location is great for getting around, with the MTR station nearby. The only minor issue was that the room wasn't very soundproof. Despite that, I'd definitely stay here again on my next trip to Hong Kong.

I'm a solo female traveler. The room is super small, but fantastic for the price and location. The entrance is right next to the metro stairs, so no wandering around searching and getting tired. You just have to take the lift on the right hand. The staff (female) were incredibly helpful — messaging me clear directions, providing all the information from booking onward, and being so accommodating. The room amenities were fully equipped. The only downside was the entrance, which felt a bit scary imp. And the floor/layout is just like the photo.

Pros: 1. **Upgrade**: Upon check-in, they proactively upgraded us to a classic suite. I suspect this was a thoughtful gesture, as their standard rooms are quite small, and the staff probably noticed our family of three had a lot of luggage. 2. **Convenient Location**: The hotel is very well-located for exploring. There are famous restaurants nearby, such as Australia Dairy Company and Mak Man Kee Noodle Shop (Michelin-rated). The hotel provides a food map at check-in. Temple Street Night Market is within walking distance, and there are several seafood stalls nearby selling live mantis shrimp, crabs, and razor clams. We didn't get a chance to try them this time, so I can't comment on the taste. It's also a pleasant walk to Tsim Sha Tsui and Victoria Harbour during the day. 3. **On-site Dining**: The hotel itself has a rich variety of dining options within its food street. 4. **Airport Shuttle**: The A21 airport bus is very convenient. It costs around HKD 30 (half-price for children) and you can get off at Ning Po Street, then it's a five-minute walk to the hotel. Payments can be made via WeChat Pay, Alipay, or credit card. Each person needs to scan their own QR code; you can't use one for multiple people. Make sure to prepare your payment beforehand, or you might get a scolding if you're too slow, and they don't give change. Cons: 1. **Aging Facilities in Suite**: The hotel is older, though it was renovated around 2018. While the room was clean, the facilities felt a bit dated. The most inconvenient part of the suite (room 725, for reference) was having to shower in the bathtub, as there was no separate shower stall. Moreover, the drainage was severely clogged and very slow. It started backing up the moment we turned on the water, not just halfway through the shower. By the end, the water would reach ankle-deep, which was quite exaggerated. I didn't complain because I felt it was due to the old building structure, and I doubted staff could fix it immediately. 2. **Restaurant Experience (Yat Tung Heen)**: One of the reasons we chose this hotel was the convenience of dining at Yat Tung Heen (a Michelin-starred restaurant). However, I personally found the roast meats and dim sum to be rather ordinary. If you consider yourself a connoisseur of roast meats and Hong Kong-style dim sum, you might want to skip it. The dining environment was pleasant, though. Furthermore, we booked for Monday lunch at 11 AM, not during a busy weekend, but by 12 PM, the manager came to ask if we wanted to order anything else because 'there were other guests waiting.' This was very impolite. If a customer declines extra orders, there's no need to add that last part; they might even appreciate the offer more. This incident further solidified my impression that customer service in Hong Kong can be lacking. After his question, I felt rushed and the rest of the meal was very tense.

## Environment: The hotel room was quite spacious and comfortable. It's very close to Victoria Harbour, and walking to Tsim Sha Tsui East and Tsim Sha Tsui MTR stations is also very convenient. I'm not sure if I got an upgraded room type, but my room even had a walk-in closet. ## Service: The hotel room essentially met all my requirements. I chose a twin room this time because the king-size rooms were smoking rooms. Our room was on a higher floor, close to the elevator yet still quiet, and we could see a partial view of Victoria Harbour from outside. The front desk service was exceptionally thoughtful; they would proactively offer help whenever they saw us. ## Hygiene and Facilities: The hotel seems to have been recently renovated. All the amenities are quite new and very clean, though the facilities themselves are relatively classic/retro. ## Breakfast: Breakfast was a mix of Western and Cantonese cuisine. The variety of dishes was relatively rich, and the Cantonese dim sum was delicious. They offered freshly cooked pork rib or fish ball noodles/vermicelli, and the most thoughtful part was being able to add as much noodles or vermicelli as you wanted.

I booked 5 days in advance and specifically requested a twin room in my reservation notes. Upon arrival, the front desk informed us that twin rooms typically require at least a week's advance booking. They offered a complimentary upgrade to an 1.8-meter king-size bed. Ultimately, we opted to pay an additional 500+ per night to upgrade to a suite, which included an extra bed in the living room and complimentary children's breakfast. The hotel is conveniently located directly above Harbour City mall. It's approximately a 10-minute walk from West Kowloon High-Speed Rail Station, and both Austin and Tsim Sha Tsui MTR stations are also about a 10-minute walk away.

Starry Inn is a walking distance to Ladies Market, restaurants and shops, Sneaker Street, banks, buses, etc. The staffs on WeChat are very responsive, nice and friendly. She allowed us to extend for an hour before check out. The room is fine, but the elevator in the building didn’t work twice or three times our stay. The wifi is sometimes slow or very slow, and you’re disconnected at times. The water in the toilet floor takes times to dry and the water stays longer when you take a shower. The aircon needs to be turned on at all times because it doesn’t work well, or the cooler needs to be repaired. The room is very hot. But overall, we had a peaceful stay. You can stay here if you want to save money for a group of 4.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean even though there were signs of wear and tear. Be aware that they provide daily disposable paper bath towels instead of cloth towels. No hand or face towels provided. I had to ask for hand soap to be provided to us. Hand sink shares the same area with beds. The safe battery was low by the fourth day. Bed linen was great and room keeping services were outstanding. We needed cleanup from an accident and they took care of it promptly for us.

I feel extremely lucky to have found this little gem in Hong Kong. The dorms are extremely well laid out, with plenty of space for the suitcase and personal belongings. The bedrooms and bathrooms are sparkling clean, the common areas are cosy, there's everything you need in terms of kitchen utensils, the water pressure in the showers is amazing, the rooftop is a really place to hang out in the evenings, and most of all, the host Patricia makes you feel at home. I got there solo, and after a few nights I'm leaving with a bunch of friends. This place certainly has a magical power 😊

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient! 📍Room 503, 5/F, Haiphong Mansion, 53-55 Haiphong Road, Tsim Sha Tsui (Take airport bus A21 to stop 14, Cameron Road, takes about 54 minutes). Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station is right downstairs, and the A21 airport bus stop is about a 10-minute walk away. I chose this hotel specifically to attend a concert at Kai Tak! It's about a 10-minute walk to Tsim East MTR station (from Tsim East, you can take the Tuen Ma Line directly to Kai Tak Sports Park, which is only 6 stops and very convenient, costing 6.8 HKD one way). However, the room is indeed very small. It's perfectly fine for one person, but for two adults, it might be a bit cramped, especially with luggage! So, I highly recommend it for solo travelers! Within about a 10-minute walk from the hotel, you can reach New Harbour City, K11, Avenue of Stars, and China Ferry Terminal (where you can pick up City Line tickets). For food, I recommend: 1. Genki Sushi on the 2nd floor of Silvercord, a 5-minute walk away (great value for money, the sashimi is really fresh, and the tuna trio is a must-try – the melt-in-your-mouth tuna is absolutely divine). 2. For dim sum breakfast, Kowloon Cafe is just a 3-minute walk downstairs. Their breakfast set includes a Hong Kong-style milk tea for just 3 HKD, and it tastes very authentic.

This family hotel is in a great location, just two blocks from Mong Kok Station. There's an elevator. The rooms are small, only 10 square meters, but they have everything you need (private bathroom with shower, air conditioning, a fan, and an adapter). Our room didn't have a window, but thankfully, we didn't feel stuffy. The owner is a beautiful woman and very kind. The staff are also very helpful and eager to help with any questions. We arrived early, and the owner even said there were two rooms available for us to choose from. The door requires a code, which is very secure. The value for money is excellent.

A pleasant surprise! There's a lively bar street right downstairs, attracting a fun international crowd. The front desk staff were excellent, explaining everything very clearly. The location is truly central. The bathrooms here are exceptionally spacious. Fantastic value for money! Just a heads-up, they no longer provide toothbrushes and toothpaste, so remember to bring your own.
