It is recommended to eat a full meal before entering the exhibition hall, which features exhibits and paintings from different eras. You can spend about 6 hours here. The basement level is the last place to visit, as you can sit down and watch a short film if you get tired, and there are also toys for children to play with.

There are many exhibitions held at any given time. The ocean can be seen through the gaps in the exhibition rooms, which is a pleasant sight. The collection includes major Japanese contemporary art, as well as a wide range of Chinese artists, from emerging to mid-career. There are also a variety of family-friendly events. Art lovers are sure to be satisfied. Large lockers large enough to fit suitcases cost $10 per hour. I wish the official website was a little easier to navigate...

Hong Kong's Museum of Art isn't just walls and paintings; it's a time machine! From ancient Chinese pots to edgy modern art, you'll explore history and culture from East to West. Special exhibitions like the jaw-dropping Venetian Renaissance showcase hidden treasures. But it's not just for art snobs: talks, workshops, and even a kids' play lab make it fun for everyone. Sure, the audio guide could be fresher and some signs could be more helpful, but that's a tiny blip in a stellar experience. Leave the city's buzz behind and dive into this artistic oasis. You'll walk out inspired, informed, and wanting more. Highly recommended!

The Hong Kong Space Museum is really cool! The exterior looks like a big white egg and is very recognizable. There are many exhibition areas inside, including astronaut training, rockets, planet models, and interactive operations. It is very suitable for parents and children to play together. The most recommended is the dome movie in the planetarium. The picture is super shocking. Sitting and watching the starry sky is like being in the universe! The overall size is not big, but the content is very solid, the ticket price is cheap, and the CP value is super high. Whether you are interested in space or want to find an air-conditioned and interesting place to visit, the Space Museum is really worth a visit!

The vivid images displayed on the IMAX dome screen provide an immersive experience as if you were in outer space, and arouse your interest in astronomy. Located on the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront, it is easily accessible, making it a great place to visit during your Hong Kong trip.

The Science Museum is truly a collective memory for Hong Kong people. The giant iron frame, the lights, the specimens hatched by chicks on the underground floor, and the giant bubble device are all impressive and can arouse children's interest in science. The latest dinosaur exhibition was also eye-opening. I was amazed by the one-to-one pterosaur specimen. Admission is free on Wednesdays.

It is a cultural landmark that art lovers must visit! A variety of performances are held throughout the year, including concerts by the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra and the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra, dance dramas by international ballet companies, and the Hong Kong International Film Festival and Arts Festival. A great place to check out some orchestral exhibitions (like the One Piece one yesterday) in the heart of Nathan Road near Tsim Sha Tsui’s harbour. Only about 3-4 minutes walk away from L6 exit of red line Tsim Sha Tsui station and right beside the space museum, so it is very accessible and easy to find as the unique design of the building stands out quite a bit as well.

Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong|2.67km from downtown
## Environment: The hotel room was quite spacious and comfortable. It's very close to Victoria Harbour, and walking to Tsim Sha Tsui East and Tsim Sha Tsui MTR stations is also very convenient. I'm not sure if I got an upgraded room type, but my room even had a walk-in closet. ## Service: The hotel room essentially met all my requirements. I chose a twin room this time because the king-size rooms were smoking rooms. Our room was on a higher floor, close to the elevator yet still quiet, and we could see a partial view of Victoria Harbour from outside. The front desk service was exceptionally thoughtful; they would proactively offer help whenever they saw us. ## Hygiene and Facilities: The hotel seems to have been recently renovated. All the amenities are quite new and very clean, though the facilities themselves are relatively classic/retro. ## Breakfast: Breakfast was a mix of Western and Cantonese cuisine. The variety of dishes was relatively rich, and the Cantonese dim sum was delicious. They offered freshly cooked pork rib or fish ball noodles/vermicelli, and the most thoughtful part was being able to add as much noodles or vermicelli as you wanted.

We had a wonderful stay at The Royal Garden. We were kindly upgraded on arrival, and the room was spacious, modern, and very comfortable with a lovely view. One of the highlights was having access to the Club Lounge — the service there was excellent and the evening drinks and snacks made it a great place to relax after a day out in Hong Kong. The location is fantastic, within easy walking distance to the harbour and plenty of shops and restaurants. All of the staff we encountered were friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. Overall, we had a great experience and would happily stay here again on our next trip to Hong Kong.

Mong Kok Hong Kong|0.73km from downtown
I had a great stay here, and the service was excellent. I was able to do an early check-in at 2:00 PM, which was a huge help, as the original check-in time was 3:00 PM. Check-in and check-out were both super easy and fast. Most importantly, the cleanliness is top—the rooms were immaculate. Location: Almost Perfect The location is almost perfect because it is right next to the Mong Kok East station. However, for some reason, all of our plans required us to use either Mong Kok station or Prince Edward station, not the East station. This meant we needed to walk about 7 minutes every time we wanted to travel, which added up quickly. Hotel Access The hotel is conveniently linked directly to the MOKO mall. Just be aware that the direct access from the mall closes at 11:00 PM. If you return later than that, you will need to re-route a longer way to the hotel's main door, and I barely even saw what the main entrance looks like! Key Suggestion for Travelers If your flight reaches Hong Kong very early, like 4:00 AM, I strongly suggest you rent an extra day earlier. This way, you can check in immediately upon reaching the hotel and won't have to wait until 3:00 PM for check-in, as waiting is very tiring after a long flight.

The first room I got was unpleasant. The hallway at the floor and inside the room was had a cigarette smokes. I was stay up for a whole day. Inside the room was shocked me! A lot of mirrors surrounding inside the room. On the next day I spoke with front desk and they changed the room to me as what I booked originally. Better view and cleanliness. More options and convenience to take the public transits. More selections for the restaurants and shops.

Facilities: The facilities are very old. The elevator is slow, and the ceiling is so low that I almost hit my head when standing. The power outlets are also very loose. Hygiene: The cleaning was perfunctory. The windows were so dirty I couldn't see the outside view, and there were many water stains in the bathroom. Environment: The room is very small, barely enough for one person. Service: The service was quite friendly, and they actively guided me through check-in. However, I booked a king-size bed room on Ctrip, but I was given a twin room, which meant the bed was very small and uncomfortable to sleep in, and it wasn't long enough either.

Good choice in Hong Kong for families with children Pros: - the room is big enough for Hong Kong, the room layout is good, and the room is fresh enough - quick check-in and check-out at the hotel - good breakfasts Cons: - I booked a 2 double premium mid floor room, and I specifically chose a higher floor for a better view. However, there was a terrible building in front of my window, as shown in the review. The hotel should probably warn you that you'll have the same disgusting view from your window, no matter what floor you book. Don't overpay for a high floor in this hotel.

The Alva Hotel by Royal stands out as a gem in Sha Tin, and indeed across Hong Kong, thanks to its smart, modern accommodation, excellent location, and competitive pricing. If you're not fixated on staying in traditional tourist hubs like Tsim Sha Tsui or Central, the Alva Hotel offers a very smart and comfortable alternative.

Wan Chai and Causeway Bay Hong Kong|4.45km from downtown
The city-view superior room is quite spacious, which offers good value for money in a city like Hong Kong where every inch counts. The hotel's location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk from Tin Hau MTR station and similar distance to the 'ding-ding' tram stop, making transportation very convenient. There are plenty of food options and supermarkets nearby, and it's also easy to walk to the seaside promenade. The room was very clean, and the shower water pressure was particularly good and comfortable. The main drawback is definitely the air conditioning; it's too noisy to sleep with it on. The bed is also quite short; if you're 180cm tall, your feet will definitely hang off. However, the hotel can extend it, likely by adding a board, though this might restrict the aisle space. Another point is the breakfast – it's the same every single day 😒. Overall, for the price I paid with the voucher, it was good value for money.

Hotel was amazing, great value for money and very convenient location. Room was clean and comfy, daily housekeeping provided. It is the classic old-school personal touch of hotels with great service and friendly staff. Wifi is okay, I didn't really use it as I wasn't able to connect immediately, so I just used my travel wifi. Hotel is very near to Light Rail which connects to MTR, nearby a neighbourhood mall and 7-Eleven so food is easy to find. If you don't mind staying outside of city centre then I highly recommend this hotel.

Prince Edward and Tai Kok Tsui Hong Kong|0.78km from downtown
We booked the quadruple room for 3 of us, room was small with us getting into each other's way quite often. There is also no space to put luggages (we had 2 medium ones) except the window ledge which was lined up against the beds. There were mirrors reflecting each other everywhere in the room, including a mirror in the middle of the room where there was a divider for the tv (seen covered with a towel in the photo). Also there were 3 large mirrors in the bathroom, the only wall with no mirror was the door.  It is branded as an eco hotel, there is no water provided in the room, except an empty water bottle which you can fill up at designated floors in the hotel. The 2 lifts were super busy and was crowded alot of the times when we took it. Note there was also no hand soap in the bathroom. I thought it may have been missed out so I asked at the front desk and was told they don't provide any handsoap. So I asked for another bottle of shower gel to be placed at the sink, and was given a Johnson and Johnson baby shower gel. The only good thing was - slippers provided were good and anti-slip. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner were from Elemis.  All in all, will not be staying here again. The abundance of mirror was creepy.

I had a pleasant stay at The Kowloon Hotel. The location is unbeatable — right in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui, just steps away from the MTR and Harbour City. The rooms are compact but clean and comfortable, perfect for short stays in the city. The staff were polite and helpful, and the check-in process was smooth. Overall, it’s a great choice for travelers who value convenience and good service at a reasonable price.

Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong|1.85km from downtown
The hotel is super close to West Kowloon Station. Just take escalator from Austin Exit F, then turn right and walk straight for about 100 meters from Exit 2, and you're there. It's really convenient for getting around; you can even walk to Mong Kok and Yau Ma Tei. Disneyland is about a 50-minute subway ride away. I was originally worried the hotel would be too old and run-down, but upon checking in, it was much better than I expected. Even though it's old, the room is spacious! That's a rare find in space-constrained Hong Kong. The hotel doesn't provide drinking water, so you'll need to boil your own or buy it from the 7-Eleven downstairs. Only disposable slippers are provided, so bring your own toiletries. There are also plenty of great food options near the hotel downstairs; the wonton noodles were amazing!

Stayed for three nights. Overall not bad, room is qt big in HK standard, bathroom is clean, but one safety issue - the bathtub safety handle is not safe, it's totally loose easily came out. Luckily I didn't fall down, just slid one step. Already reported it to front office, they said wld fix it. The room came with coffee table w supply of coffee n tea bag. Also provide a safe n a fridge. Aircon was working well. Only thg not provided is teeth brush, haha small issue . No other complaint. Location is qt gd, vy close to market, eateries n team terminal. 5 mins to bus stops n airport bus stop, n 10 mins to subway station. Breakfast: provided at $77, buffet type, ok , gd enough.

The room needs upgrading and carpet needs cleaning.  We liked the location for its closeness to the Prince Edward MTR, restaurants and shopping.  The lighting needs to be upgraded as it is dim and not bright.  We liked that your safe and bar fridge were operational.  We did not have the food at the hotel  as there were so many other food choices in the surrounding area.  The room could be better sound proofed as we heard the tv next door and we could hear people talking in the hall.  I could not get really cold water to drink from your bathroom tap.  There was no bottled water provided to guests so we had to purchase them.

HongKong International Airport Hong Kong|24.17km from downtown
A convenient hotel situated next to Hong Kong International Airport. The Regal Airport Hotel is a 10-15 min walk from the arrivals hall A to the airport hotel. For some travellers who are on a long layover or on a business trip it is very convenient. If you have a very early departure from HKIA I would also recommend as you wont have the burden of having to wake up early to commute to the airport as you'd just be a walking distance. For those looking to travel into the city its not so convenient as you will need to take the MTR or a bus ride out each time. I'd recommend choosing a hotel in the city or closer to the main attractions

A clean hotel with a good view of the city across the river/sea. The only down side is that if we wanted amenities we have to buy it from a vending machine on the same floor that only accepts Alipay, WeChat and octopus. We are not from the mainland and just arrived in Hong Kong so we cannot buy anything from it. By amenities, I mean stuff like mineral water, toothbrush. Staff comes to clean everysay at about 10am and room was spacious. Did not get food from the hotel so will not be commenting on that. The hotel is a bit far from the train station but there is a bus stop about 1 min way in front of the hotel that can take us to the train station. It is also walkable to the nearest ferry terminal, about 10mins walk. Recommended to stay

I will list the pros and cons of this hotel based on my personal experience to help you to decide, if this hotel could be right for you. Cons: Butter, jam, bread, croissants, coffee, tea are served as a free breakfast, but a full breakfast could be served, considering that the hotel is not cheap. But this must be a general thing for Hong Kong, as everything is very expensive there. The highlight of our room was its high floor and gorgeous view from the big window, but it had a strange thing - there was a locked door to the neighboring room, so every sound was heard from the neighboring room. I would have not even noticed this, if we didn't have as a neighbor a man, who spent a night getting in and out of the room, gambling in a casino, bringing ladies from there and fighting with them about how much money he should pay them. I called the reception, as this happened at 2 am. Security came up, then all was calm until all started over at 4 am. I called the reception again, but their response was not optimal and satisfying. Instead of moving out the weird neighbor, they offered me to change the room at 4am, knowing that my 8-year-old daughter was asleep in the room. They offered me to move to another room on the next and last night, but the room offered was cold and didn't have a view to the harbor, so I didn't agree. I wasn't offered any compensation for a sleepless night, which would be a fair thing to do, as we are paying for our calm night sleep in a hotel. Pros: The hotel is located on Hong Kong island, near Fortress Hill MTR station. The MTR station is very near and you can use it to get to all tourist attractions, including Disneyland, etc. Though it takes around 1 hour to get to Disneyland by changing MTR lines. We also took Ding Ding tram to Central, which was lots of fun itself, as I have not seen anything like Ding Ding tram anywhere in the world. If you want to stay in a skyscraper, considering that Hong Kong is a jungle of skyscrapers stacked one on another tightly, then you will like the facilities of this hotel. I asked for a high floor with a nice view and the staff was very nice, giving us a room on 33rd floor with a great view to Victoria Harbor and the surrounding skyscrapers. The room size was also fine for me and my daughter, unlike other hotels is HK offering tiny rooms. The hotel and the room looked new and nice. There was another bonus - a terrace opening from the breakfast hall, where we had breakfast and enjoyed the great views to the surrounding skyscrapers.

The room size was decent, and it came with a fridge and microwave. I called the front desk, and they promptly brought up an iron, so the service was quite good. The hotel Wi-Fi was very slow and kept disconnecting. Both the 3rd-floor restroom and the hotel elevators require a key card for access, which shows they prioritize guest privacy. The only downside was the cleanliness of the bedsheets, as seen in the picture. There were stains and hair on one side. I didn't discover this until late at night when I pulled back the covers after working. I called housekeeping, and they responded fairly quickly. The staff member said it was from the dust brush, but the hair was curly, clearly not from a cleaning tool. It was too late to fuss about it, so I just let it go after they changed them. I stayed in mid-November, and the hotel was already getting into the Christmas spirit. Overall, the hygiene significantly detracted from my experience, though the staff service was satisfactory. It was a mid-to-low rating overall.

The service here is excellent! The front desk asked me what kind of room I preferred during check-in. All the hotel staff were very polite. The hotel is conveniently located right next to a Don Quijote store, which is great for shopping, and there's also a Little Bear Biscuit specialty shop nearby. It's also a short walk to the subway station, making it very easy to get around. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit!

Room is not modern but well maintained. Harbor view room is worth it, given a room on the 12th floor, should be noisy on lower floor as facing road. Buffet variety ok but quality not top notch. Probably will not stay again as the hotel breakfast is not good enough but that’s just me.

This is my second stay at Rosewood, and for 6000 a night, the mini bar prices are outrageously high – 200 for a small juice and 75 for a Coke. That's a real turn-off. The toiletries in the bathroom are also very basic; the shampoo made my scalp itchy, and the entire line, including the soap, has no scent whatsoever. The afternoon tea is only good for photos; honestly, the pastries don't taste good at all. I got tired of them after just a few bites. Rosewood's pastry chef is really mediocre... The Chinese restaurant, however, tastes quite good, but you need to book in advance. The bar closes at midnight from Monday to Friday. Breakfast is quite lavish, and the service is pretty good!

Within 5 minutes, walk for variety of Food Choices nearby and open till late night. It also has supermarket, pharmacy and two 7-11. About the facilities, hotel cake shop is good and we got to enjoy discount with room card presented. We enjoyed our stay of 6 days.

Overall, this was a fantastic experience. First, I'd like to mention the staff member at the restaurant with glasses. His service attitude was absolutely superb! I've forgotten his name, but he was wearing glasses and a suit today. I really think the company should commend him. He was extremely friendly because I told him my husband's card was on file, and I wanted to use it for payment. He actually made two trips to help resolve this issue for me. I also want to say that the hotel's pool is excellent; they even provide life vests for children and made sure we understood that kids must wear them. My child accidentally fell into the water, and thankfully, the life vest was there. I really commend the hotel for this. And the 180-degree sea view was truly amazing; it's something I'll never forget. My children had a wonderful vacation here, and I feel like we'll definitely come back again. Plus, the food at the restaurant was delicious and very tasty, and the service was also great. The ice cream was very good, especially the chocolate flavor. And the little panda photo op at the entrance was excellent. This really felt like 6-star hotel service – very thoughtful and meticulous. Thank you all so much.

The main drawbacks were the rather dirty carpet and the somewhat dated room facilities. However, the hotel's location was excellent. It's not far from the subway station and within walking distance of the central business district. Getting to the China-Hong Kong cross-border minibuses was also convenient, just a few hundred meters away. The area was quiet at night with no noise disturbance. With central air conditioning in the rooms, it's an ideal choice for business travelers.

The location is fantastic, with a 7-Eleven, Circle K, and Mannings nearby. The tram and bus stops are right downstairs, and the MTR station is a straight walk away, no complicated turns. There are plenty of dining options around, with发达叉烧 (Fattat Char Siu) and Coco Espresso both very close. I arrived at noon, thinking I could only check in but not yet enter the room. However, the front desk saw there were available rooms and kindly upgraded me for free, allowing me to check in immediately. The service was excellent and very human-centered, not stiff or formal at all.

This has become my new favorite hotel in Hong Kong. The rooms are relatively spacious, and the views are excellent; even without booking a sea view room, you can still mostly see the sea. The transportation is incredibly convenient; it's just a three-minute walk from the MTR exit. The room was absolutely fantastic – clean and comfortable, and it's rare to find such a spacious sofa and a proper desk in a prime location like Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. The shower had multiple heads and came with Jurlique toiletries. The bedding was incredibly soft and comfy, the mattress was just the right firmness, and the pillows offered great support!
