I recently booked five rooms at Holiday Inn Nanjing Road for my guests, but the experience did not meet expectations. While the hotel is well-located and the staff were polite, the service level needs improvement to match today’s hospitality standards. Despite clearly booking Queen-bed rooms, one of my guests was given a twin-bed room during check-in. This created an embarrassing situation for me, especially since these were high-value guests and I had assured them of proper arrangements. For an international brand, accuracy in room allocation and attention to guest requirements should be handled with more professionalism. In addition, the hotel would benefit from an upgrade to align with modern service trends. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves both the booking accuracy and overall guest experience in the future.

The hotel service is professional, and the check-in requirements are arranged properly. After staying for a few days, there are couriers sent to the hotel. The little brother is very enthusiastic to send the courier every day, and the service is first-rate.

The location of the hotel is priceless. Its in nanjing east road. Taking didi taxi & metro is conveniently a step away. We were upgraded to a big room which was at 24th floor. It was simply amazing and spacious. With a wholesome view of nanjing road. The staffs are always so helpful, attentive and really friendly. Tip top service. The only thing i would like to feedback was the aircon is centralised and can get quite warm during the night. If the aircon temperature could be adjusted lower ard 18degC to make it cooler our stay would have been perfect. Other than that everything was just simply awesome. Bustling hotel with alot of guests at all times.

I am very satisfied with this stay. Thank you very much Mia at the front desk. I saw that we took the children to help us upgrade the family room. We checked out with leftover clothes and specially used us to mail them. We are very responsible from beginning to end. Five-star praise

I often live here in Shanghai. The location is great. It is on the edge of Nanjing Pedestrian Street. The surrounding area is full of restaurants. The transportation is convenient. The hotel service is very warm. The price is not reasonable when the holiday is not. The bad thing is that the holiday is often full. The hotel often upgrades my room type for free. This time I came to live for five days and helped me upgrade the suite for three days for free. I am very grateful!
