We arrived to a hotel full of sugar filled kids. Reception lovely. Went to get lunch…………………..yeah that long to be recognised..a wee acknowledgement knowing you are standing getting varicose veins, no interaction at all!. Spa insisted we wear those caps but we were a 20% percentage of the rules applied. Slippery surfaces be aware. Our dinner was booked for 7.30, 20 minutes later seeing other tables being served I asked if we could have some service. Had to ask for service and drinks and again breakfast was a chore too. I would not recommend at all but if you have sugar filled kids go for it.

Spoke with staff directly to book for two nights for 2 adults and 1 child. Given a deal but on check out we had to pay extra for child as child wasn't included even though there were 3 of us staying.. go figure. Paid for caps for pool, no one else was wearing them. Pool changing rooms were sub standard. System for using pool didn't work either. As guests we were placed on a waiting list however others were able to us the pool. Food wasn't great for dinner. Breakfast was OK. Our room was freezing. The windows need repaired. Lounge areas were also cold.

Was at a wedding at the weekend food was terrible beef was rock hard Yorkshire puddings were freezing so was the veg we will be never going there again soup was cold the Vol au vent was freezing never again

The Captains Bar was excellent though you could extend the menu a bit. Perhapsa smaller cheese board woud be nice. The haddock and chips were supperb. We eat in the dining room on Tuesday night and we were disappointed, the extra cost for the Prawn Mayonaise seemed rediciyoulos as was the extra cost for the Duck. we would certainally recomend people to stay at your hotel. The twin bedroom was excellent.

We booked the cosy winter package. Two nights bed and breakfast and one 3 course evening meal (with a glass of bubbly) included. The most relaxing and tranquil couple of days. Absolutely loved everything about our stay. Would highly recommend a trip.

What an amazing stay me and my partner had here. The views and the scenery are just fantastic. The staff were lovely and house keeping had our room completely serviced the next day for us within half an hour! The food also was lovely both breakfast and the bar menu. Would highly recommend, can’t wait to return!

Had a lovely long weekend to celebrate our 40th anniversary. The staff were all very courteous and helpful. The room had a lovely view of the Foyle and surrounding area. The hotel was very well laid out in such there was a wedding reception on and we never got disturbed

We recently had our wedding reception in Redcastle and we couldn’t have been happier with our day and our stay there. The whole planning process was made so easy and enjoyable by Margaret Mary and the team. Our wedding day was perfect. So many of our guests commented on the wonderful service and the amazing food on the day. We truly did have the best day of our lives and we are so grateful to Redcastle Hotel for making it so special. Thank you.

We had our wedding at Redcastle and from the start of the organising process to the day itself we had a great experience. The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful and Margaret Mary, the wedding coordinator at the hotel was a pleasure to work with. We would highly recommend. Food, drink and food all excellent!

Went to the swimming pool today with my children, pool was not like the advertised pictures you see and the pool area and changing rooms where so wet and not cleaned up regularly that my two year old slipped and banged his head. There was no staff on reception to leave my comments on the way out. Pool area needs cleaning. Not happy

We went for our 8th wedding anniversary dinner on 28th March. From start to finish the staff were wonderful. I couldn't say a bad word about the food it was devine. Service was really fast and professional throughout. The view from the table is stunning every time. Me and my husband really love Redcastle and we will definetly be back time and time again.

For €259 for one nights b+b was expecting a bit more than average. Could not check in until 3pm and room given had stains on carpet and gale force like wind through dodgy window. Was moved to another but was nearly 5pm by time was sorted. Have to be out by 11am next morning. One thing though the breakfast was great although we did jump long line to be seated and was scolded by fierce manager. Ive stayed in budget hotels and this to me is akin to them.

We had our wedding here last December and we cannot rate it high enough. From our first contact with Margaret Mary to the very end of our wedding day, we can’t thank you and your team enough. You were an absolute pleasure to work with and you really made our day so special. They went above and beyond, from the organising, to the service on the day, the food, and not to mention the ballroom Chris**as decor was just that beautiful special touch. Our cake decor was flowers and they even placed the flowers for us so we didn’t have to worry about this on the day, I am so grateful and it was just perfect. we have just returned from the most beautiful stay. the staff were brilliant, very friendly and helpful. rooms were very spacious with everything you need plus a big comfy bed. we had breakfast and dinner and the food was amazing! the views were beautiful. a fantastic time away and will most definitely be back!
