My daughter and I stopped in to attend a conference in Charlottesville. The hosts were very warm and inviting. The kitchen was stocked with many organic foods that even I could eat! I don’t do added sugar or gluten so I normally just count on going without in a situation like this but they had MANY choices. I liked being able to make my own breakfast and not feel the pressure of eating something out of politeness. It was also nice that I could use the fridge for personal items. They have excellent coffee with just about every way you could ask to make it. I liked the lack of TVs making noise through the house. Loved their overall way of living, it was very much in line with mine. All natural soaps, shampoo, conditioner, etc. Composting, cloth napkins, solar power, you get the idea. But I would say the best part was their warmth. They just really did a good job at making us feel right at home. Also, the location was excellent. So close to everything. Checking in and out was easy and hassle free. Color coded keys were a nice added touch. Oh! And the price was out of the world for the area and the food choices. Would definitely recommend staying.

Modest exterior residential neighborhood but very nice interior accomodations. Bus stop across the street down to the right about 7 houses. Middle class residential neighborhoid gives you a feel for that sector of Charlottesville. Easy access to all major points.

The friendliest and most generous guesthouse of our travels. Bedrooms are small and you share a bathroom with guests staying in the other 2 rooms. Hosts Raven and Flame live downstairs. But this all works smoothly because of the welcoming environment hosts Raven and Flame have created. They go out of their way to introduce everyone and make them feel welcome. And they supply a very generous selection of organic produce - including great coffee and every possible kind of coffee maker. The result is breakfast is a convivial and friendly affair. And it is well organised and immaculately clean and tidy. The recommendations for dining out were excellent - all within walking distance and produced the best meal of our trip - shrimp and grits at the Beer Run. Highly recommended

Wir waren sehr erfreut über den netten und herzlichen Empfang. Das Angebot zum Frühstück war für amerikanische Verhältnisse, überwältigend. Die Gastgeber legen großen Wert auf ökologischen und nachhaltigen Lifestyle. Uns hat es prima gefallen. Charlottesville ist eine sehr schöne und gemütliche Stadt. Von der Aktion Play for Ukraine waren wir sehr berührt.

My host was very pleasant and attentive to all my needs. My room my comfortable and made for a restful stop over on my longer trip.

Our hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, going the extra mile to assist us in our local ventures around Charlottesville. The environment was clean and welcoming, with a lovely screened-in porch to enjoy birdsongs over yummy morning coffee. The DIY breakfast options are healthy and numerous, with lots of fruit, eggs, and oa**eal. We look forward to a return visit!

Hosts were friendly and helpful. Place was clean, if a little care-worn. Well-stocked with coffee, tea and one could use the kitchen. A few caveats -- the guest rooms are three small bedrooms on one floor. It was okay for us, since no one else was there. There also is only one bathroom on the floor,so if there is more than one room occupied, it could be an issue. There is no television. The mattress in our room was a futon placed on a wooden box. It was not comfortable.

It was clean and the proprietors were nice. The food cupboards were well stocked The shared BR was a bit challenging.

Nice B and B in Charlottesville. The only inconvenience is the shared bathroom, but it was quiet, the bed was very comfortable, and Flame and Raven are nice hosts. There's continental breakfast items in the morning. The house is very eco-conscious.

This was a lovely place. Very clean, spacious, beautiful artwork and plants. Terrific location for visiting our son at UVA. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. It was the perfect place for us to stay to attend our son’s graduation.
