LEGOLAND® Malaysia
Before going, we searched for a lot of reviews about what's inside, but didn't find many reviews. Most of them only reviewed the hotel zone. So we will review the theme park part. What to do inside? Are there a lot of tourists? Will it be fun if there are only adults? 🎟️ How to buy tickets? We bought tickets from Trip.com and took the e-ticket sent to our email and scanned it to enter. On the day we went, there were quite a lot of tourists. Most of them were foreigners, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and mostly families with children. However, there were also some older children, like high school and university students. Most of them came in groups of friends. When we arrived at the point where we scanned the ticket, there were many restaurants, a minimart, and a zone like a supermarket like Tops. The restaurants looked quite good and had a variety of options, but there were people in every shop. We didn't want to waste a lot of time, so we chose to walk into the minimart instead. The first thing we saw was various important tourist attractions from each country. But every place was modeled using Lego. You can walk around and take pictures here. Because the colors are very beautiful. 🎯 Activities go inside, there is a children's play zone, such as a fire truck (must play with adults, feels like a family activity). There is a zone like a drama show, this one has rounds. We walked past the roller coaster zone. Saw that the line was not very long. This one will be for children to play. There were many elementary school children in line. The track is not very long, it goes around 2 times, but when it's actually playing, it feels dizzy. Saw kids in the line queuing to play the same thing many times. Personally, I passed. 5555555555555. When we walked past to the opposite side, it was a roller coaster for older kids. The track is rubberier and higher. In case anyone wants to try it. We walked past to the next zone. They have many types of zones. Each zone has a Lego shop that matches that zone. Open together. There are food shops all along the way. Each shop is not often repeated. So if any shop looks delicious and you want to eat, go ahead and eat.💖 Who is Lego Land suitable for?> Suitable for family trips, taking children, young children to travel> Older children or adults who like Lego, there is a large shop inside> Bring children to travel abroad, not expensive, fly to Johor Bahru, very close to Thailand, cheap tickets> If you want the atmosphere, I recommend staying at a Lego hotel. Then choose a ticket package with an aquarium + water park, it will be worth it.❌ Who is not suitable?> If you expect to play thrilling rides, lots of rides like other amusement parks, it may not be your style.💰 Ticket price for Lego Land zone only = 1439 THB **Each period may have different prices. . . . #TravelMalaysia #JohorBahru #legoland #legolandmalaysia #TravelAbroad
Jalan Tan Hiok Nee
If you are planning to travel to Singapore and don't want to fly directly from Kuala Lumpur, you can stop by Johor Bahru, a short trip that can be done in half a day! I personally tested this half-day tour route and it was easy + cultural + air-conditioned! It was really comfortable after the walk~ I share the itinerary as follows👇 🕌 Johor Ancient Chinese Temple Located in the city center, a century-old temple hidden between skyscrapers, integrating the beliefs of Teochew, Hakka, Fujian, Hainan and other ethnic groups With its prosperous incense and ancient architecture, it is a microcosm of JB's local culture Free visiting time 10am-530pm 📸Tips: The red lantern wall is very good for taking photos! It is recommended to wear white or red clothes to go beyond the photo 🏮 Tan Hiok Nee Heritage Street It's less than 5 minutes walk from the ancient temple! It is one of the earliest Chinese settlements in JB Creative shops, independent cafes, graffiti walls, and traditional food are all concentrated here The street is not long, but it is very tasteful, suitable for walking, taking photos, and drinking hand-shake Remember to go and take pictures of different murals, it is definitely worth slowly exploring! 🛍️ City Square Mall It only takes about 10 minutes to walk back from Chen Xu Nian Street, super convenient! Eat, drink and shop in one stop: Sephora, Uniqlo, Guardian and various local restaurants, there is even a small popmart blind box and other second-hand buyer stores (but a little expensive 💰) It is recommended to reserve about 1 hour for free shopping + buy small souvenirs With dry goods❗ 🚶Johor Bahru (JB) → Singapore (SG) customs clearance strategy | 2025 version of the lazy package Whether you return to Singapore from JB or come for a flash mob on the day, please keep this customs clearance strategy 👇 ✅ Recommended route: walk through the customs + take a car to enter SG Start from City Square Mall or no matter how you arrive at jb SENTRAL, (look for the Woodlands sign anyway) walk into the JB CIQ Customs Building (with air-conditioned pedestrian passage) Scan your passport + complete the departure procedures (Malaysia e-gate supports most foreign passports, which is much faster. Singapore and Malaysia passports go on the left, and foreigners go on the rightmost egate) After crossing the long bridge, you will arrive at SG Customs Woodlands Checkpoint Enter Singapore with SG Arrival Card (remember to fill it out online in advance) Take SMRT bus / Causeway Link CW → Kranji MRT or go directly back to the city 🕓 Avoid peak hours: 7:00–9:00 am on weekdays / 17:30–20:00 pm (wait for 2 hours) Friday nights and weekend mornings are the most crowded! 📲 Prepare in advance: Download MyICA App (check entry status) Get your SG Arrival Card ready Johor Bahru is really not just about exchanging money + eating Bak Kut Teh, it actually hides many cultural treasures, Johor Old Temple + Tan Hiu Nian Street is totally worth visiting to experience the slow time of the old street✨ The itinerary is not rushed, and the photos are also beautiful. It's just right to go shopping at City Square Mall, and you will feel very satisfied after one trip~ 📌#JB Tourism #JB Half Day Tour #Malaysia Travel #CitySquare Must Visit #Johor Old Temple #Chen Xu Nian Street #JB Cultural and Creative #JB Good Photo #JB Cafe #Singapore Malaysia Border Crossing Guide #Singapore Weekend Travel
