This is my second time staying here. The room I received this time was quite different from my first visit. It's smaller, and the bathroom is very cramped. The room itself felt tiny, and the lighting was extremely dim. There were also very few power outlets by the bed, and one side wasn't even working. My first stay here was definitely a better experience.

Big basic hotel, starting to get old but clean. Clean room and bed. Friendly and helpful reception and staff. 14 storey hotel, usually get high floor. No restaurants nearby, but there is a 7-11 on the ground floor and you can walk to Talad Din Daeng. However, the location is far from the subway, so you have to wait for a taxi or you should have your own car.

To me, as a person who visited Bangkok for the first time, the location seemed poor. Too far from the subway station, and super inconvenient to walk to. But if you make it to the station, it only takes 20 minutes to get to the airport, which is great, given Bangkok's horrible traffic. Even though we only stayed for 2 nights, they cleaned the room. AC and WiFi work well. We ordered pizza from the hotel restaurant and they only delieved it after 2 hours of waiting! That was a huge disappointment.

Second time staying here and the location is superb! Close to the em district (emsphere, emquartier) and essentially close to the bts station too. For those who are booking grab, the driver will have no issue finding the place as well. Room is spacious for the price we are spaying and basic amenities like dental kit, shower kit are provided.

Very good location. Not too far from Sanampao BTS station. Tucks in a quiet corner. No noise from traffics and BTS. Very spacious room and balcony. Great for medium term and long term stay as well. Comes with all needed amenities. Gym is available but open at 8am which is very late for me.

The Temple of the Emerald Buddha
📌The Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew) in Bangkok is the crown jewel of the Grand Palace, serving as the personal temple of the king and the royal family. All religious ceremonies are conducted here, and only members of the royal family are allowed to enter through the main doors. The golden pagodas and gilded palaces are truly impressive. Entrance fee is 500 baht for adults. Children under 120 cm tall enter for free, while those taller than 120 cm pay 250 baht. Audio guide rental costs 200 baht, and a guided tour is 800 baht. I highly recommend taking a guided tour, as exploring the palace complex without one might not be as engaging. There is a dress code for the temple complex: shoulders and arms up to the elbows must be covered, as well as knees, and footwear must have closed heels. These restrictions apply to both men and women. 📌If you want to take beautiful photos, here's another location for you (photos 1, 15, and 16 were taken here). You can also arrange with a photographer who knows the best poses for photos and rent a beautiful traditional Thai outfit right on site. 📍796 Soi Thoet Thai
Wat Arun
When I'm in Bangkok, Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn, is a must-visit for me. It offers perfect photo spots and an atmosphere of authentic Thai culture. Entrance fee: 200 THB, and we were also given free water. Opening hours: 08:00–17:30. Best time to visit: Weekdays. Early morning — a peaceful setting and soft light. Sunset — golden glow and the most stunning shots. Dress code: Modest clothing — shoulders and knees should be covered. You can borrow a sarong at the entrance, or for an additional fee, rent a traditional Thai costume for an impressive photoshoot.
Bangkok
The unusual Dragon Temple is located 40 kilometers from Bangkok. Tower: 80 meters high and 17 stories high. Dragon: Wrapped around the tower, its head is located on the roof. Each of the dragon's five legs symbolically depicts the five Buddhist precepts. Inside: You can climb an internal tunnel-staircase to the roof. The upper floors are closed to visitors as they are occupied by monks. Interior: Statues of Buddha and other mythical creatures can be found inside the temple and throughout the grounds.

Bangkok has a tropical monsoon climate which it is means hot and humid year-round. But if you like the heat, the city is an ideal vacation spot no matter the season. Having said that, the most pleasant months to visit are from November to March when the heat and humidity are at their lowest. The monsoon season occurs from May to October, with September and October being Bangkok’s rainiest months. April is typically the hottest time when days can get sweltering with highs of 37 °C (99 °F), and the coldest time is December with temperatures averaging 26 °C (79 °F).Due to cooler and drier weather, crowds are at their peak in late Fall and Winter, and this is particularly true around the Christmas and New Year’s holidays. Visitors should expect higher prices, and it’s advisable to book accommodations months in advance. Another peak period is during the Thai New Year (Songkran) in mid-April, a popular time for domestic tourists to descend on the city. The off-peak seasons in Bangkok are July and August which happen to be the monsoon season. But if you don’t mind the weather, this is a great time to go as there are many good deals on hotels and flights. April through June, September and October are the shoulder seasons.
