1. The hotel adopts no reception, you must check in by yourself. If you have any questions, you can press the contact number on the tablet panel. You can talk to the service staff to help check in if you need to speak English or Japanese. The car is parked in the parking lot in front of the second floor for free. The parking lot is very large. We only have four cars when we check in, including our vehicles. If there is no self-driving, the traffic is a bit inconvenient.
2. The location is halfway up the mountain, there are many motels or daily rental suites nearby, I don’t know why I feel very empty, and I don’t feel very comfortable on safety concerns.
3. The room environment is the same as the photo. The room range is super large. The baby is very happy to run around, but it is also very happy to hit. The room lighting is dim, personally feel that the sight line is poor, the remote control is super insensitive, and it is difficult to switch or shut down.
4. During the stay, no one will remove the garbage, and you have to find a way by yourself or put it in the check-out.
5. Basic spare parts are available. The room is located at the highest point, so it is very convenient to open the window to watch the sunrise or sunset.
My recent stay at the Novotel Okinawa Naha was an absolute delight from start to finish. I chose this hotel for its central location, but it exceeded all my expectations in every way.
**The Stay: Comfort and Convenience**
The rooms are modern, impeccably clean, and incredibly comfortable. The beds are like clouds, ensuring a perfect night's sleep after a long day of exploring Naha. The bathroom was spacious with a great shower, and the little sitting area was a nice touch. The view from our room was also lovely, offering a great look at the city. It’s the perfect peaceful retreat to return to.
**The Food: A Delicious Surprise**
We decided to have dinner at the hotel's restaurant on our first night, and we were so glad we did! The food was outstanding. We sampled both international dishes and local Okinawan specialties, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The breakfast buffet was equally impressive, with a huge variety of options—from Japanese classics like miso soup and rice to Western favorites like fresh pastries and eggs. It was the perfect fuel to start our days.
**Overall Experience**
What truly made the stay special was the staff. Everyone we encountered was friendly, professional, and went out of their way to be helpful. The location is also a major plus, making it easy to walk to Kokusai Street, the monorail, and other key attractions.
We had a truly wonderful experience. Thank you to the entire team at Novotel Naha for such a memorable trip. **We will surely come again** on our next visit to Okinawa!
The hotel is located right next to Tsubogawa Station, offering incredibly convenient access as it's just outside the exit. It's also surrounded by convenience stores (FamilyMart and 7-11) and a post office that's even open on weekends. The hotel has coin-operated laundry machines and dryers on the first floor, but their washing and drying performance is quite average; it's probably better to use the laundromat next door. The hotel offers a reasonably priced breakfast and lunch buffet. At other times, the restaurant functions as an executive lounge for Accor elite members, but guests who booked through Ctrip cannot access it. It's important to note that while Ctrip bookings *can* be linked to the Accor ALL app, the hotel itself doesn't recognize your Accor membership status nor does it provide member benefits for such bookings. Given that Accor offers excellent benefits to its members in Japan, elite members are strongly advised to book directly through Accor's own channels.
I couldn't have been more satisfied with my stay at this hotel, which boasts a nearly perfect location in the heart of Kokusaidori. It's strategically situated about a two-minute walk from the area's busiest section, offering the ideal balance of quiet comfort while still providing immediate access to shopping and dining. The proximity to transportation was also a huge plus, with the Naha Monorail just a two-minute walk away. Beyond the location, the experience was elevated by the genuinely super friendly staff and the surprisingly delightful breakfast, which was super tasty. Finally, I appreciated the unique touch of having a great selection of complimentary amenities available for guests to choose from in the lobby.
Location, food and service were excellent. The room was very spacious and well maintained. The staff was courteous and helpful. Breakfast is worth the money. Varieties of Ryukyu and western dishes were served fresh. They have a very interesting feature. Since we were staying only for two nights we didn't ask for room cleaning services. Just asked for towel replacements. So they offered gifts.
The only drawback was the timings of the hotel amenities - pool and sauna. These facilities are available only from 8am -9pm. As a tourist, this is the time when I will travel for sightseeing. I would have liked to use these facilities to relax after a long day of outdoors. We could use none. What's the point of having these facilities then? The timings should be then mentioned on booking sites.
The room was quite spacious, easily one of the biggest I've stayed in at a Japanese hotel, and the free onsen made for a very comfortable stay. There's a beach nearby with a designated swimming area. While transportation is fairly convenient, it does require a bit of a walk to reach public transport stops. Picking up drinks at the convenience store and enjoying them with friends as we explored the surroundings was a real highlight.
🍴Food recommendations
I found this Okinawa barbecue restaurant on tabelog and booked a place to try it after seeing the high ratings! Once you sit down, you know you won't be cheating: their wagyu beef really melts in your mouth ~ sooo good! 💯 From starters, barbecue to noodles, the pieces are super good, satisfaction is bursting! 🍖🍜
For dessert, the only thing that felt the mango ice cream was too cold, and some ice cubes affected the taste, but it did not affect the overall dining experience, because the whole dinner process was very happy, the staff service was courteous and quick, super plus!

Okinawa
This restaurant is located on the first floor of San A Naha Main Place. It offers both Japanese ramen and Chinese cuisine. I highly recommend the fried rice and fried chicken wings. The fried rice has a wonderful smoky flavor and each grain is distinct. The fried chicken wings are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with just the right amount of seasoning. The seating is spacious and comfortable, and there's no queue on weekday evenings. It was my first time eating there, and I thought it was excellent – great value for money! If you're ever shopping in the area, you should definitely check it out. #RestaurantReview

Besides the Okinawa rice balls, A&W Breakfast is another worthwhile breakfast. The menu has descriptions in both Chinese and Korean. The Sarsaparilla milkshake is especially addictive, but today, since I had coffee first, I ordered something else.
The burger was delicious, and the patty was incredibly flavorful. Before your trip, try this #1 popular burger 🍔 to boost your travel energy.
