Guia Fortress and Lighthouse
The Guia Lighthouse is located at the top of Guia Hill in the Guia Municipal Park. It is one of the oldest lighthouses in Macau, built in the 19th century. With its white walls and red roof, it exudes a colonial-era charm. As you stroll up from the park, you'll enjoy a shaded and tranquil path. Upon reaching the summit, you'll find the lighthouse and a fort, offering a panoramic view of the Macau Peninsula and the sea. The most stunning moment is at dusk, when the sun sets and the sky turns a vibrant orange-red. The lighthouse and city lights create a picturesque scene, making it the perfect spot to sit back, feel the breeze, and savor a relaxing sunset experience.
House of Dancing Water
In Macau, a must-see attraction is the show "House of Dancing Water." This show is relatively new, having premiered in May 2025. We've attended many shows before, so we couldn't miss the House of Dancing Water either. Tickets start at 7,000 rubles, but the venue is always packed, and buying tickets on the spot is nearly impossible! I highly recommend purchasing them in advance! A special water theater was built specifically for this show in the "City of Dreams" casino, where the stage is simultaneously a pool, a fountain, and a deep abyss! The "House of Dancing Water" surpasses everything I've seen before in terms of spectacle! If you've ever seen a Chinese show, know that this is a hundred times more impressive! Words cannot describe the emotions of witnessing the simultaneous emergence of fantastic decorations from the depths of the sea, extreme divers plunging from the dome, aerial acrobats in stunning costumes, and the incredible musical accompaniment! Before the show, you can buy souvenirs with the show's symbols, take photos with the actors and a sword ⚔️! P.S. VIP tickets include a cocktail, popcorn, a sandwich, water, and the dessert pastel de nata (so you might skip dinner 😂).

This dessert shop that seats less than 10 pax is where a local Macanese brought me when I visited Macau, and it’s Macau’s best kept secret! This place is on the steep road over the Monte do Forte park. It serves mostly local desserts and herbal drinks, but there is one item that nearly most customers went for - the braised fish maw in milk!! Fun fact: Fish maw in Chinese culture is known for their high collagen content, and is thought to support skin elasticity! This dish is so rich and nourishing, you can almost feel as if you are absorbing the collagen, as the fish maw makes your lips gelatinous! For the price and the amount of fish maws you’re given, this place is bang for the buck! 📍 山海堂 🕰️ monday - sunday : 1030am -1030pm #foodlocity #foodlocityinmacau #dessert #sweettooth #chinesedessert
