Fantastic. Everything was perfect, staff so friendly & helpful, ambience was lovely but the food… the food was indescribable! No words can do it justice! Absolute perfection. We were staying in Aberystwyth but made the journey here on recommendation. So glad we did. It was definitely worth it..

Outstanding comfortable and friendly place to stay with outstanding service. Location is wonderful. Both restaurants are excellent atmosphere but the food is absolutely fantastic. The star go out of there way to generate a very comfortable atmosphere. This the second time we have been and we will certainly be back.

This is probably the best small hotel that I have ever stayed in, in the UK at least. Really friendly and efficient staff, a really comfortable room with a great view of the harbour. Plus a really delicious, beautifully cooked and presented, dinner. Only challenge was the steep spiral staircase with a heavy bag. Can’t recommend it highly enough

This is a stunning hotel, and the staff are wonderful. We came here for a big anniversary, the room and food did not disappoint. However we left with a simple but annoying regret, hence the four stars. We had booked in January and paid the deposit of one night’s stay out of two for mid March including a Friday night. At the time they were offering a discount on Friday night stays and when I asked for this to be applied they told me that the discount was not available for our dates. Subsequently they did have an offer available for our dates, but we were not given it. It was a small amount but it would have paid for a bottle of wine? When we asked for the discount to be applied (we took a screenshot of the offer which included our dates) they said that as it was not available at the time of booking for our dates then it was not applied. So we were effectively penalised for (a) booking direct and (b) booking in advance. The website is a nightmare to navigate as well. Since then we have been offered a 10% discount on future stays (the discount would have been 20% on our stay) but I must say that it slightly spoilt our stay at a simply great hotel. Why make offers if you can’t fulfil them? It left a nasty taste and dampened our appetite to return.

Just returned from a two night stay lovely kind and professional staff, everyone was friendly and helpful, beautiful room with views of the harbour and magnificent Welsh breakfast fantastic. Evening meal was very enjoyable would highly recommend.

From arrival until leaving absolutely the best customer service !!! The room was so comfortable and very clean and had everything we needed. The evening meal was excellent and cannot fault but what does stand out are the staff!!!! A must visit (despite essential harbour works taking place)

Happy, friendly, helpful staff. Lovely room overlooking the harbour one side and sea view from the bed. Well equipped room including coffee machine, fresh milk available. Hearty breakfast choices, tea and cake mid-afternoon, good bar and menu.

Lovely hotel. Staff very friendly and considerate. Rooms loads of character and really well appointed. Very clean and cared for. Really high standard of accommodation. B&B good deal. Food absolutely amazing. Breakfast great choice, everything fresh and locally sourced. Bread and preserves baked / prepared by restaurant. Complementary afternoon tea was a lovely touch. Coffee excellent (Flat white and mocha). Cakes looked delicious (confirmed by my mother). Evening meal in restaurant amazing. Good value considering very high standards. Menu choice varied and restrained enough to know that all choices were going to be top notch. Great location. Staff all lovely and that really makes the stay special. Thanks.

Just returned home from a wonderful one night stay at the Harbourmaster Hotel and I’m already wishing I could go back. So many nice things to say about this place starting with the convenient car park located at the back of the hotel. We received a very warm welcome on arrival with the offer of complimentary tea/coffee and cake! We then went to our double room to unpack and were greeted with a lovely cosy room with plenty of space, modern bathroom and fabulous view of the harbour. The tea and coffee available in the room had a great selection, yummy biscuits and a nice coffee pod machine with easy instructions. Later we dined in the restaurant and the food was amazing. The atmosphere was great and we had a lovely evening. Breakfast was served in the restaurant until 10 and the staff really looked after us. Breakfast was brilliant, really setting us up for the day. Cannot fault anything, absolutely fantastic staff. Wish we’d stayed for longer.
