This is one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed at in Addis Ababa so far. I booked everything through Trip.com, and the experience was great from the moment I arrived. I was met at the airport by the hotel’s shuttle, which took me directly to the hotel.
The staff were extremely friendly, polite, and helpful. Every staff member I interacted with was welcoming and went out of their way to assist me.
The rooms are spacious, clean, and have a luxurious feel. The bed was also very comfortable. The only issue I had was that my balcony door wasn’t locking properly. I reported it to the concierge, who assured me it would be fixed. There is also 24/7 security, so I still felt completely safe. The room had a safe as well, where I kept all my valuables.
Breakfast is included and there was plenty of food available, although I personally wouldn’t recommend it. It was edible, but definitely not the highlight of the stay.
One downside is the location. There aren’t many restaurants, shops, or activities within walking distance, so you’ll need to take a taxi to get to most tourist attractions and entertainment areas. This is definitely something to keep in mind if you prefer staying somewhere where everything is close by.
That said, taxis are easy to arrange, and for the price you’re paying, this is still an excellent option. It’s affordable while giving you a comfortable, clean, and somewhat luxurious experience.
Overall, I’d give this hotel 4/5 and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay in Addis Ababa.
