阿米莉亞酒店(Maritim Hotel Amelia - Luxury Ultra All Inclusive)

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Sehr leckeres Frühstücksbuffet und das Abendessen (auch Buffet) war reichhaltig .. alles herzlichst zubereitet inkl. frischen Obst und Gemüse. Die Zimmer waren glatte 5***** , sehr freundliches, geschultes Personal, das ganze Team toll ist - vom Hotelmanager bis Rezeption, Housekeeping, Restaurant ---＞ man merkt, hier ist der Kunde noch im Mittelpunkt und Gast , vielen Dank. Das war unsere erste Reise nach Bulgarien , wir werden nächstes Jahr wieder kommen Beste Grüße aus Hamburg ... macht weiter so !! Ralf

In august 2023 I chose Maritim Amelia, again. We had room 318, overlooking the garden....I had originally booked a room with a view to the park, but the hotel staff told me (by e-mail) that those rooms are not renovated and are smaller. Although I was on my second visit, they asked me for a rather large difference for the upgrade, the difference I paid through the agency. At the reception I had the unpleasant surprise of being told that they were offering me a better room "for free" even though I had already paid 400 euros for that room through the agency. When I told them that I made this payment because that's what I was told by the hotel's Public Relations Service......they didn't comment anymore. Room 318 was elegant and clean at first, then the maid started coming around 3, 4 p.m. when we were resting. Normally she only takes our bins and changes our towels. She did not use the vacuum cleaner, she didn't wash the floor in the bathroom during our stay. The food was very good and varied, the restaurant clean and quite spacious. The drinks in the all inclusive system were much more and more diverse than at Easter. I felt the lack of a bar on the beach but it wasn't bad either that I came all the way to the pool. Large and clean beach and countless sunbeds....the sunbeds in rows 1 and 2 were paid. Although they were new and very good, they were roughed up and treated by those who were busy gathering and arranging them..... some had even started to crack because they were roughed up The location is very good and Albena is excellent especially for families with children and the elderly. The hotel is very good and clean and elegant. I would suggest, however, that the staff at the Reception be more in collaboration with those from the Reservations Service so that there are no more unpleasant misunderstandings. 400 Euro difference for upgrading for those who book the second, third time, etc.).....Inadmissible!

Perfect location for a relaxing vacantion. The location is perfect for seaside vacation. Rooms was nicely , modernly and extremaly clean .The food was delicious with a lot of variety. Thanks to the managers Vlado Georgiev and Yasen Todorov -young .intelligent and ambitious people. I really want to recommend this hotel to everybody.

I was with my family for two weeks, the food was amazing, there was show cooking station, the barthenders were amazing and very polite, made us some wonderful cocktails, the pools were very good and the rooms were perfect - comfortable bed, big TV, big bathroom with every furniture new. The staff is polite and helpfull. Perfect destination to relax.

We really enjoyed our holiday in Albena, at Amelia hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. They were expecting guests to check in with a glass of champagne. The room was spacious and beautiful and the bed was comfortable and huge. The food was delicious and we could also enjoy our meals on the two terraces of the restaurant, which was very elegant and offered an incredibly wide range of options. One of the chefs, Violeta, who was very kind and attentive, prepared some delicacies for us. The dessert also was exquisite and very good coffee. The hotel is very close to the beach which is also very clean.

Super location! The food was good and very varied! Staff extremely friendly and helpful! Large, modern and comfortable room! A beautiful beach in the vicinity of the hotel. Everything is at a very high level for a wonderful summer vacation! Thank you!

Excellent service - all staff was very polite, knowledgeable and showed genuine interest to help when needed. Really delicious food with lots of variety, even for the youngest. Some of the best cooked fish I’ve ever had. The restaurant was exceptionally clean, tidy, a lot of attention by the staff, very polite, and the management was greeting the guests all the time, finding ways to surprise the guests, such as a fine drink, special cake, or Bulgarian traditional bread. Special thanks to the cooks. The kids loved the pools and the water slides, so did I, there is something for the big kids too:) The animation team kept things entertaining, we loved the water gymnastics and kid’s parties in the evening. Hotel location is excellent, very close to the beach and the central shopping street. Parking is paid but this is part of Albena’s policy, not the hotel itself, I just calculate it in the total cost. The good thing is that there is parking nearby, so I could drop off the car and enjoy the day. We had a great time and we’ll be happy to stay in the hotel next year too.

Extremely dissapointed! That’s my feeling after my holliday at Maritim Hotel Amelia, in Albena, in August 2023. Maybe my expectation were too high (considering, also, the other reviews on this hotel), but I’m going to write here my experience and you can judge by yourself whether I exaggerate or not. I stayed there 7 nights with my family, in an appartment, at the ground level - Appartment 13!. We paid for the top package: luxury ultra all inclusive, so I expected to receive top quality services. Let’s start with the good things. The hotel seems to be quite recently renovated and the interior design looks pretty well. The personnel was in general ok, polite and helpful. As about the food I would say it was at average level (some dishes ok, others not, and not so much variety)… And that is all about good things. Now, let’s talk about the shortcomings. As I said the first impression about the room was very good. But then I went into the bathroom where I had to face the strong noisy sound of a fan which started afther a turned on the light. And it continued about 5 to 10 minutes after I turned it off. The noise was so strong that many times during my stay I preferred to not turn on the light at all. I also tried to cover the fan with a towel but it was not a big improvement at all. And despite the strong noise, the fan efficency was very low - many times I could feel smell of cigarette smoke coming from the other (bath)rooms through the ventilation system. I don’t know if that problem was in other rooms of the hotel. But it was in my appartment (no. 13!) and it was very disturbing. In the other toilet the fan made also strong noise when you turned on the light, but hopefully, it st Another problem was about shower cabin. As they didn’t make properly the slope of tiles we had a wet floor all the time in front of the shower, so I got wet many times in the night when I used the bathroom (expecially because I didn’t turn on the light to avoid the fan noise which could wake up my dother sleeping in the livingroom) The cleaning of the room was also poor. Sometimes they did a good job, but the most of the times they didn’t. When we asked them to clean the room it they said it would come someone imediately so we spend some time outside the room to let them to do the job. However, after two hours when we come back we realized that it was nobody there to clean the room. So we asked them again, they finally got someone so we had to stay againt outside the room for a while. Sometimes they cleaned the terrace, sometimes not. The same with changing the towels in the bathroom. However it was far away from the quality of a 5 stars hotel. In addition, the lawn in front of the apartment's terrace was poorly maintained - so it wasn’t a very nice view. The hotel doesn’t have its own parking, which is against the rules for a 5 star hotel. It was a public parking about 100-150 meters away from the hotel, where it was quite difficult to find a place for

The excellent stay!the hotel is very comfortable, our room was big with a beautiful view, the food was ok. The most important thing was the staff, they were amazing and helpful!special thanks should go to the manager mister Vladimir!during our staying he helped us so much!-health problem. He is very professional, kind and he is always smiling!I recommend this hotel, it is the best in Bulgaria.
