It wasn't the room I booked it for and never was brought clean towels and when I tried talking to the employees about the wrong room and and clean towels nothing was even tried to be made right my anniversary group was completely destroyed and ruined because of this place it broke my heart broke my husband's heart and we are so disappointed I highly suggest that you check out another place before you come here and I highly suggest that you understand to even the employees here are rude and they have no customer service skills nor do they even want to try another place book another place don't try to get that Jacuzzi room cuz it's a lie it's all a lie and I am so so sad my anniversary was freaking ruined! 😭😞😭😞😭😞😭😞

The floors in the common areas were shiny and beautiful. The furniture and doors were beat up and ripped. The bathroom was old with whiskers in the cracked sink. The soap stunk and was useless. Couldn't use it. The baseboards and the board into the bathroom was filthy and almost unfinished at this point in it's life. No carpet on floor of room. It is not a cabin. The lobby and room smelled bad. Not pleasent at all. That is problem #1. You use *******. I will Never again try to get a room through them. The first time I put the date in wrong. I went right back in and cancelled and changed the date. 10:26 pm. The room was going to be around $107 for the night. When I changed the date, they said the system was down and I would have to call back at 12:28 am to see if they could change it. They had told me the room was now $167. Well, I missed them at 12:28. Now what? I assumed I at least had the $167 reservation. I got ther 2 days later with NO reservation at all. Neither date. I asked for a room and got one for $106. Now, where did that $167 fee come from. Sounds like a SCAM to me. I told the desk clerk about it. He said that was all *******! Breakfast was the worst I have had at a hotel. Thanks for the Hallmark channel.

They had construction going on right below our room. They started jack hammering at 7,:30 am. Thru to 6:30 pm. The beds were lumpy. The room was clean. I had an accessible room and it was down the hall from the elevator. I hardly could get my wheelchair thru the door opening of the elevator. I requested a room on the first floor and got a room on the 2nd floor. They put a couple with a 2 kids and they had the TV on high and the kids screamed all night. The work crew was living in the hotel and they had their families there also. There was no parking in the parking lot, there was boxes of furniture all over the place. It was difficult getting to the door. The HC parking was being used by construction workers. I asked one of them to move and found out he did not talk English. That was a waste. If I had known work was happening here, I would have never stayed here. I will never stay at this best western plus again and I will never recommend it. I wasted $300 on a dumpy hotel .

The staff was wonderful and made sure we were had the best handicap accessible room, even opened the door for us before I guided my husband to the room and offered to help bring in all of our luggage. With a my husbands handicaps there is a lot of medical equipment - what a blessing to find such a wonderful place on our journey.

I was given a handicapped room—Did not pay $209.00 for a handicapped room- I will not use Best Western or ******* in the future- I will also inform everyone I know about this!! Do Not use Best Western or *******!!

Albert Lea is halfway home on our vacation. We were looking for a clean and quiet place to spend the night. Best Western didn't disappoint. Very happy with our stay. The.desk clerk was very pleasant.

This is a good little Best Western. The staff was very nice. The hotel was clean. The rooms were clean and modern. There were only two things that were downsides. #1 The bed had a pillow top, but under the pillow top, it was very firm. This might be just personal preference, but both my wife and I woke up sore. Our friend who was staying in another room said the same thing. #2 The area to eat the continental breakfast was small and on the Saturday of our stay, there was not enough seating. Per the remote location, this Best Western is in I would say it is the best hotel in town and we will be staying at it next time we come to the area.

I posted this on the hotels review page. This gives your brand a very negative representation. The stay was totally negative except for the lady at the front desk who was obviously overmatched and the manager abandoned her. We will stay at other branded hotels but because of the egregious handling of the situation we will ask for a refund of our money. This was a good hotel in an overpriced area, not the cheapest and not the most expensive. Room was well equipped, bed was comfy, but smelled musty. Pets allowed, so this might have been a pretty room.

Quick and easy parking, check in, etc. Front desk clerk friendly and helpful. Will stay again.

Water drained very slowly in bath and the hand washing areas which left disgusting dirts afterward. Furniture kept dirty and sticky. I should not try to move the table for my own convenience to touch the sticky and dirty sides of that. Bestwestern is not a reputable brand anymore.

The dryer was broken and I had to travel with two loads of wet clothes the next day and wash and dry them after traveling for 10 hours! The staff was not very accommodating for any other sultion! I am not pleased!

Rated excellent due to cleanliness and breakfast. Otherwise under renovation, our room was not quite complete.
