I am staying at the hotel Baltum at the moment and my boyfriend and I cannot fault it at all! Perfect location- it’s central to the Old Town, 2 minutes from the beach and very clean. Air con works great. The shower is perfect and the room is cleaned daily and towels changed daily if needed. As the location is central there is a bit of noise at night- but ONLY if you have your balcony door open though. The minute it’s shut properly you can barely hear anything- the rooms are very soundproof! I am currently 31 weeks pregnant so no late nights for us and we can sleep easy when we get back to the room for bed at 11;30pm. The hotel provides complimentary ear plugs out for you in the room, but we have slept absolutely fine without them. Only downside is no fridge- but we have used long life milk from the shop just outside for our tea and coffee in the morning. All in all we are so glad we stayed here, especially as it meant I didn’t have to walk far at all as everything is on your doorstep.

The hotel was in a great location. We loved having access to the beach and the sea so easily. Staff were very friendly. The only negative was the breakfast which wasn’t very good, maybe they could invest some money in a new and better coffee machine as the coffee wasn’t very nice

Fantástico dez estrelas staff super atencioso estive com 3 crianças e conseguiram proporcionar uma excelente localização do apartamento. Recomendo vivamente. A repetir para o ano sem dúvida. Estão todos de parabéns.

We arrived early and check in was at 5pm. However, we were invited to get changed, leave our luggage and use the pool. V clean pool and restaurant. The 1 bed apartment, number 251, was perfect for my adult son and I. Sofa bed in living room, well-equipped kitchen, view of pool. Plenty of extra towels and sheeets in the cupboard. A member of staff drive us up to our apartment and stopped at the on-site supermarket to allow us to pick up a few basics, and then took us to the apartment and helped with luggage. The Casa Azul restaurant was wonderful. We ate there 2 evenings and had breakfast there 3 mornings. Lovely staff and food. Reception staff were multi-lingual and v helpful. Check out was at 10, but we weren't leaving til 8pm. Again we were invited to use the pool and use showers at the lower pool. An Uber to Old Town was about €5. A great break. Thank you! Dolores

Never again would I stay in this terrible place. It is only for 18-30’s type of people who want to party all day and night. The pool is absolutely filthy because some of the younger generation have no respect. Men whistling to the small amount of young girls as they walk about. Lads banging on peoples doors through the night so I didn’t feel safe, They say no stags or hens but the place is rammed with football groups instead. The rooms are basic and cleaned on a daily basis. I would not recommend this place to anyone who likes to sleep of a night and have a lie in. Pool area is just filthy aswell cigarettes stumps all over the place and sticky floor because of split drinks not getting cleaned up. The new town is not for anyone over 30 in my opinion.
