When checking-in on 11/4 the receptionist did not have my pre-paid booking documented, until "finding it" and blaming another manager for their log being off. That was no problem, I was patient, she seemed to do what she could to find my booking and the issue was resolved. During this check-in, she offered me a $10 food/drink voucher if I "go-green" by opting out of housekeeping services, which I said yes to. She also offered breakfast, which I opted-out of. My mother in law came to meet me the next morning and the receptionist told her there was no one by my name staying there, so my mil thought she went to the wrong hotel and even though has trouble walking, walked to the one down the street just to come back again once she called me. When I went to check-out, I requested my $10 voucher to have a drink on my way out, and this same staff member had zero recollection or documentation that I opted in for the voucher. She also claimed I had opted-in for breakfast and tried to charge me. Safe to say the service was off this weekend. Atura is one of the most beautiful and convenient hotels in Albury, but reception was either very forgetful, intentionally making mistakes, or just not paying enough attention to detail with their bookings. I am a frequent traveler and hospitality is a passion of mine, so I just wanted to leave my review here and say overall there is room for improvement with the integrity of this brand and customer experience at this location.
