1000羣島港口酒店(1000 Islands Harbor Hotel)

One of the loudest hotel stays I've ever had. Snowmobiles pulling right up to the doors and revving their engines for 15-20 minutes at a time. So loud it sounded like they were in the room. Room next door had several guests listening to loud music and talking loudly late and then again in the morning. Walls were very thin. Having lived in the area I should have known better than to book this hotel in winter. The snowmobile crowd is loud & rowdy. Will never do again.

Nice full service hotel in a charming town. Everything walkable. Room was very spacious and clean and we got a very good rate booking with *******. ($50 more if booked through the hotel). "Adirondack" type decor - slate tiles, sage coloured woodwork in cabinetry in room. No coffee maker in the room - but a coffee station was set up in the hallway near the elevators - so that did the trick. Most hotels provide a couple bottles of water in the room - this one didn't. Small thing - but we missed it. Also - even though the room was nice - I felt the bed was on it's last legs.It was okay, but after traveling for 12 days stratight - we've slept in more comfortable beds in other hotels on this trip. We didn't go for a room with a view, as we arrived in the dark and left very early the next morning - but if you are staying longer - the view is very nice! Lovely walks along the boardwalk in this town, and lots of nice shops in the area - and we had a great dinner at an Italian restaurant on the water, just a block away. Front desk staff very nice - pleasant enough one-night stay, at a great rate, off season (arrived the day after Xmas). Not sure I'd be up for the quadruple the price rates in the summer. Pricey at that time of year. But we only paid $118 US, all in for our stay. So you can't beat that. For the price we paid - very nice.

By far the best place to stay on the American side in the 1000 Islands! Very clean, very modern, and walking distance to everything in the village of Clayton.

The second time my wife and I stayed here and we absolutely love it!! We stay during the off season and it is quiet, romantic, and the perfect chance to unwind and marvel at the beautiful surroundings. Suggestion....go for the upgrade to the Admiral Suite! You won't regret it!

I have stayed here for the Christmas parade for the past 10 years I stay 2 nights and this year the room rate doubled in price . I understand increasing but from 200 to 400 a night. You also need more luggage carts as waiting over an hour for one is in acceptable for 400 a night

We had stayed five years previous. Then it was excellent. I woukd not say that now. Half hour for water to get hot water. Clogged sink and last day toilet started leaking. I am in no hurry to return. We also did the Thanksgiving buffet. Food was cold. Found a chunk of metal in the mashed potatoes that we told the server. Not the best memories made.

We experienced plumbing issue with a faulty shower faucet— no hot water. The fixture wasn’t installed correctly, hot/cold disk spun around- desk girl was helpful

I felt like the staff wasn’t very friendly at all, and we were woken up at six in the morning by a staff member leaf blowing outside
