Positives , excellent comfortable room, light breakfast but good quality muesli, pastries, fruit juice and coffee. Battery charging and secure storage for bike.
Negatives, instructions for entry not received despite phoning hotel twice and Trip com. Waiting outside for text message!

We arrived late evening, but the details to get into the house came late. There is no parking and I had to walk a distance to park. Then I had to be at the car by 8 AM and pay or I would have had a fine. We feel the house is overpriced for what we received.

The check in was faceless which is great should you not wish to communicate with anyone. The room was large and clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean, spacious, well equipped and the shower easy to use. Having the breakfast in the room made the stay easier and relaxing. For me the only ‘slight’ drawback was the bed sank toward the middle. But, hay ho, I slept well.

Love everything about this hotel, 3rd time staying. Unfortunately some rather noisy and inconsiderate guests below me this time, sound travels easily in these old timber buildings so what can you do..! Still fully recommended if visiting Marlborough.

The room was really comfortable with a massive cosy bed, big roll top bath, tea and coffee. My partner and I stayed for two nights over New Years and had a wonderful time. Just round the corner from the high street so cery convenient.
We wanted a quiet and relaxing stay and thats what we got.

The room was very comfortable but the big problem was the shower, the water took ages to drain so had to turn on and off so not to flood the bathroom, plus the thermostat on the shower didn’t work and only piping hot water came out.

Cool looking room with very nice bathroom and bed.
My wife did find drying her hair in front of a mirror difficult as the plug sockets weren’t in the best places. It’s really handy for the town but parking was a bit hit and miss.

A lovely accommodation with loads of character and so close to the centre of town. Our room had one of the best showers I've ever had the pleasure of standing under. There was a small problem with the wifi in the room but this was sorted after a quick phone call. For sure, parking can be an issue but with a bit of patience you'll find a space nearby. All in all, it made a nice change from the standard hotel.
