穆拉爾哈魅力屋酒店(Muralha Charm House)

Lamego surpreendeu-nos desde o check in no nosso hotel! Gente amável! Nunca vi uma concentração de tanta gente prestável como nesta cidade! A Zilda e o Ricardo foram uma simpatia em pessoa, e fizeram um upgrade do quarto para um maior e mais alto, assim tivemos a vista do santuário. Fica perto de tudo e o design do interior foi muito confortável e moderno, aproveitando as estruturas de tijolo e madeira originais. Fomos muito bem tratados!

Adresse fabuleuse à conserver Maison ancienne accolée aux anciens remparts, très bien aménagée Nous avions la chambre "historique" petite mais avec une terrasse privée Notre hôtesse était très sympathique et a donné de bons conseils Le petit déjeuner est servi "on the roof" avec une vue exceptionnelle sur la ville. Il est très très copieux et notre hôte incroyablement accueillant La maison est proche du circuit du Douro

Excelente localização, prédio recuperado com muito bom gosto, mantendo muitos traços e materiais originais mas com muitos toques modernos e confortáveis. Edifício muito bonito. D.Zilda, a proprietária, é muito atenciosa e flexível. Esta casa é mesmo o ideal para um fim de semana calmo, para visitar Lamego, que também achei muito bonito. Obrigada por tudo.

Wenn man den eher eng und unscheinbar wirkenden Eingang hinter sich gelassen hat, betritt man eine Welt ganz besonderer Art. Das Haus wurde mit viel Liebe zum Detail und einem ausgesprochen guten Gespür für Architektur renoviert. Alte Materialien wurden mit neuen kombiniert und in eine perfekte Harmonie gebracht. Unser Zimmer/Suite im ersten Stock war sehr großzügig dimensioniert. Neben einem Schlafzimmer gab es noch ein Ankleidezimmer und ein geräumiges Bad. Die Ausstattung ist hochwertig und sehr geschmackvoll arrangiert. Das Frühstück wurde auf der verglasten Dachterrasse serviert. Man hat von dort aus einen wunderschönen Blick über Lamego. Das Frühstück selbst war auch sehr lecker. Wir bekamen zwei unterschiedliche Brotsorten, zwei Sorten Käse, Honig aus der Region, Wurst, Marmelade etc. Die Besitzerin dieser Unterkunft ist sehr nett und sympathisch. Sollten wir noch einmal in diesen Teil von Portugal reisen, so wird diese Unterkunft auf jeden Fall wieder von uns gebucht werden. Wir können sie nur jedem ans Herz legen. Ach ja, einen kostenfreien Parkplatz gibt es in Laufnähe. Aber wir waren zu faul und hatten direkt vor der Tür geparkt und den Ticketautomaten gefüttert.

Don't read any more. Look elsewhere! I had the most miserable time ever and I have visited 8 countries staying in literally dozens of B&bs in the last year to compare. There was no welcome into this converted terrace & the sleeping area was bizarre and vastly overpriced at £80 per person. For £80 the customer should get the best. The room was not prepared. A blocked sink, freezing cold and no heating in the showroom. Unless you count the hairdryer which had to be used it was so cold. The alterations were the worst you could imagine and totally out of keeping with the old building with cheap plastic cladding used as dividers. There was absolutely no heating in the public areas so freezing cold everywhere. No heating in the breakfast room even the woman there wore her outdoor clothes as I did being 6 layers and head covering it was so bitter. The owners simply do not care about their guests. Breakfast was in a word. Miserable. Hard cold toast. No cerals, no fruit, no cake, no rolls. no thought how to please their guests. A bizarre place. They kept saying I was the only person cold but NO other guests were ever seen in 3 days! Stange place The worst place and most depressing I have ever stayed in, not even a Happy Christmas!.

The property itself is beautiful, with lots of rich wood and brick. The first floor room is very spacious. Rooftop breakfast area is charming with a fantastic view of the town. However, note that with a very small sign out front it’s a small challenge to find. It consists of 5 floors of stairs only, so lifting will be required. Street noises do filter through the windows and sounds from other rooms as well. When we arrived, the entrance door was locked, lights were off, and no one was present to greet us or let us in. We had to call the phone number associated with the place in order to get in. There were no notes attached to the door indicating check in procedures, which I found lacking in service. The breakfast was adequate. The owner Zilda is charming and very nice.

The accommodation was perfect and very modern. The dinner at the rooftop was exquisite and unforgettable and the host provided a unique and intimate atmosphere. The hotel was in the center of Lamego and perfect for exploring this beautiful city.
