Studio 6阿爾圖納， IA - 得梅因東部(Studio 6 Altoona, IA - des Moines East)

I tried to stay at this place and got a room through ******* and when I got there the lady at the desk was of no help. She claimed she couldn’t find my reservation and would not allow me to stay and basically sent me on my way and just walked away from the desk. Luckily I was able to contact ******* and they offered me a full refund. The woman working was very unprofessional and not of any help

The indoor pool that was advertised,was closed.the only reason we came here was to swim with my son.

Does the owner actually care about this property? The parking lot was scattered with litter. The courtyard outside my room had broken siding and roofing. Cigarette butts littering the doorways. The room had three lights...entry, and two small ones by the beds. Nothing in the work area. Plus the mattress was covered with plastic...does that mean it was infested with bed bugs at one time? Bad even for a Motel 6.

Room did not have coffee pot, or shampoo and conditioner. There was a man outside banging on a pipe for over 5 hours, I believe he worked at the hotel. Overall did not match listing description.

The room itself is as advertised. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, and it was quiet. We could tell the room had recently been updated, and the pool looked well-maintained. Our stay was a good one in this regard. However, be aware that the hallways and the hotel itself are not updated or in good condition. This is a Motel 6 with a kitchenette.

Once you got into the room it was very clean and comfortable. Outside doors were not secured. Hallways were not very clean. It was fine for what we needed.

Had a pretty good stay. It looks like they are remodeling. The staff was super friendly. Only downside is how thing the walls are. The people in the next room were so loud and fighting till about 3am. But thats not the hotels fault.

Got there late. Checked in and room was used. Bother beds a mess, shower and towels still wet, and garbage all over.

The lady at the front desk was so great. The rooms were overall clean and comfortable. They had the AC on for me so I didn't walk into a sauna. The pool was ok. Carpet would've been nice in the rooms but I understand why it was laminate. I really liked that the room had a large fridge, microwave, stove top, dishes, etc. Would've liked an extra blanket and more then one towel per person. But I'm sure I could've asked and got them. The location sucks. You have to enter the gas station to get to it which was super confusing to me. The parking lot where I parked closest to my room was behind a bunch of parked semis at the gas station so I felt very unsafe in general. But all in all for the price, it was a deal and I'd probably stay again.
