庫姆海灘酒店(Kumu Beach)

Boutique hotel, with comfortable size room and bed that looked out onto the gardens. Food delicious and the chef was quite happy to vary the food if you wanted something different. Swimming pool warm and very inviting in the heat of 35 degrees. Fantastic friendly staff especially Ruchira (hope the wedding goes well), Umamangi and Prabriath.

Love staff, amazing food and stunning scenery. I would highly recommend Kumu Beach if you are going to Sri Lanka, the views are 2nd none and there is a very relaxed vibe there. There is a door to the beach so you can go for a walk on a completely empty beach.

My partner and I recently stayed here at the end of our Sri Lanka tour organised by Teardrop hotels. We were originally meant to stay three nights but due to a wedding had to stay an additional night in Galle’s Fort bazaar hotel. Despite some confusion over our arrival time Kumu beach was wonderful. The room was very well appointed, spotless and comfortable. The grounds and pool were immaculate and a great area to relax in. Having access to the large beach was also a bonus. The staff were all outstanding especially the manager Chamara, they looked after us very well. The food was also excellent. Highly recommended.

Location is nice. Interior and Exterior is lovely. Didn’t have a pleasant stay due to the food and service. Breakfast is ok but dinner is not that great(tasteless) There were two guys who did a good service but others are lazy fellows and messing the orders. They don’t have any supplies in stock also ( kids wanted hot chocolate and they said it’s finished) in our suit the bathroom sink was having a leak and it smells bad. Ants were all over the living area and we had to call the housekeeper to clean it. We had to go out for lunch cuz their menu was not upto our expectations. Sorry to say this but we have made a wrong decision on selecting your resort.

Scenery at the location is just wow! The cleanliness and the staff service are excellent. The Pool is warm in the morning and that’s really great. Better if the food portions could be improved. The garden area is nicely landscaped. I loved my stay.

Spend two days with some friends here on our trip around sri lanka. It was a great Stay, with a very intimate feeling as the hotel was small and luxurious. Rooms were very nice and spacious. All of the staff was really nice, very polite and extremely service minded.

This oasis by the beach is possibly one of the best boutique hotels I have ever stayed in. The 10 rooms are wrapped around a garden and pool adjacent to a lovely sandy beach. Nothing is too much for the staff who are very well trained, friendly and very helpful. The executive front of house manager Raj da Silva was exceptionally helpful and obviously his team are very well led by him. All in all I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough

Very nice hotel, quiet and stylish. Very nice room, great view, comfortable beds, good air conditioning. Courteous staff. The chef was responsive to our requests and even gave me his great ice cream recipes (gin tonic ice cream, milo ice cream, and more).

Traveling with my daughter who currently lives in Columbo, we toured tea country and this area of the coast staying in 4 different Teardrop Hotels. All were lovely. But this was my favorite. Staff is attentive without being intrusive. Waitstaff professional and knowledgeable. The suite we had was beautiful. Large rooms, equipped with everything you could possibly need. So relaxing. We stayed 2 nights. Could easily have stayed a week. Robert was quietly making sure we were well cared for. Top tier boutique hotel. Highly recommend
