湖屋在Waterhead客棧(Lakehouse at the Waterhead Inn)

有點過時，但在安布爾塞德以同樣的價格有更好的地方。 住在Lakehouse，你在Imn over road辦理入住，但預訂時或門上或Lakehouse上沒有任何地方告訴你這一點。房間裡沒有直達酒吧/接待處的電話號碼，所以當我們沒有毛巾時，我們不得不撥打普通的 Inns Collection 電話。毛巾很快就提供了。浴室的散熱器閥門脫落，因此無法調節那裡的熱量。工作人員很有禮貌並且熱心提供協助。早餐還可以，希望能更好。

Basically a nice hotel. A few things could be improved: There is no storage space for things in the bathroom. Lack of hooks or bars to hang bathroom towels. The save was not functional. The room made a newly renovated impression, but unfortunately with the above missing details.

Great location, just overlooking the lake . The hotel is good but without any outstanding or unusual characteristics. Food is average . Service levels are mediocre and often more lip service than any attempt to help . The breakfast was substantial. Is it worth a stay? Yes , primarily for the location

Stay was excellent. Room spacious, very clean and lovely view over garden. Breakfast was superb and staff very pleasant and friendly. Our swedish friends travelling with us were equally impressed.. Only drawback for us was no bar to have a nightcap in.

Couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. From arriving to leaving felt welcome. If I could give a gold star I would. The staff were cheerful and you could tell that a lot of the guests had been there before. That in itself shows how great this place was! It never seemed a burden asking them for help, thank you all!!

Overly expensive for the kind of property this is and how its managed. The staff is very rude and racist towards asians/ muslims. Very average hotel, not even a 3 star by any means and they classify themselves as 4. Doesnt even have a proper place to sit other than the 2 old chairs in the hallway. Old carpets and furniture, Low class old mattress and pillows. No change of linen or proper cleaning. Only one staff in the whole property which is clearly not how a hotel is managed. No trash cans on property and be prepared to be harassed and extorted for more money by the staff for any service u ask for. Only one good thing which i can mention is its location. Very less Walking distance from ambleside pier.

Short walk to the beautiful lake. Do note that the drive up into the property is a small slope and would be slightly difficult for larger cars. Cleanliness was alright with the exception of some cobwebs at the corner ceilings. Nice place, great staff, well equipped!
