水仙水療酒店(The Daffodil Hotel & Spa)

Wonderful place to stay: the lakeside grounds were beautiful, the room was lovely with a huge and comfortable bed and luxurious bathroom, the spa was wonderfully relaxing, and the staff were wonderful. There's ample parking and it's walking distance into Grasmere itself. We didn't manage to eat dinner as they were fully booked before our arrival, which was a slight disappointment, but we had the bar menu one night, which was lovely.

Floods were affecting our arrival. They had to provide wellington boots but then took us to a rear door and the person guiding us left us to find our own way. we were then rushed to give the boots back. Reception were neither friendly or professional.Spa facilities were poor. steam room not working and pool not deep enough or big enough. Menus were not interchangeable between the two dining areas and food was not high standard. Room was very good but facilities limited. Check out was poor.

From start to finish another great stay at the Daffodil. We have been coming here for over ten years and still get excited just as much as the first time that we stayed. The staff are wonderful, polite, friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and the views of the lake and fells cannot be beaten. The spa is lovely and warm with the addition of some new beds where we had a little snooze after our walk. Rooms are lovely and the sitting room is a great place to relax and unwind after your meal. Andy was brilliant at night and answered our endless questions about the area. He made our last evening really enjoyable and knew so much about the history of the hotel and the area. Lots of great humour too. Thank you so much for a great stay, we look forward to seeing you again.

Overall it was very nice. The room is clean and has almost everything. Only suggestion would be a smart TV. Customer service from lounge/dining are is outstanding. They felt like friends! Food was nice and spa facilities good but could use a pool for swimming. Current one is quite small.

Very relaxing stay.Our room had a beautiful view over the lake. The food was very well presented and most enjoyable. The hotel is set within a small walking distance from the quaint village of Grasmere. close to some wonderful walks and climbs if tempted with a spa facility for those tired limbs.

Stunning hotel in a great location. The staff were so welcoming and helpful, spa was lovely and the food in the lounge was fantastic - best sausage & mash I have ever had! Our room was lovely, clean, spacious and had the perfect view.

Had a wonderful stay. The hotel is very clean and the room and bathroom was lovely. The staff have all been very friendly and helpful. Would definitely love to come back. The hotel is not far from a lovely walk around the Lake and 10mins flat walk to the centre of Grassmere.
