First of all, you should be clear that this is a sort of apartment rental and not a hotel - there are no on-site employees at all, and no housekeeping. There's a lot to like about the property, which is why I returned for a second stay: incredible location, clean, full kitchen and washer/dryer (for those who wish to have them), excellent TV and internet, very responsive assistants (by email or phone). But I think your experience is kind of luck of the draw, depending which room you get. This time we were first given a room that had a full-size (not queen) bed tucked into a corner that would have required one of us to climb over the other, and to sit on the bed to reach the rod where we would hang our clothes. We complained, and they immediately moved us to another room, which was better, but still problematic. The bed was in the kitchen area (already weird) and had neither head board nor wall behind it, so our pillows kept falling into the window well. The bathroom light was on a timer and went out several times while we were in the shower. The paint on the walls was peeling in several places, likely the result of a painting that had been removed. All in all an acceptable experience, especially the fantastic location, but not one we will likely repeat.
