馬刺酒店(Spur Hotel)

We were traveling in our Tesla to our next charging station ready to stop for the night. We saw the hotel, new nothing about it but it looked so charming from the outside. The hostess was so friendly and helpful. We were Leary of the stairs because we are older. She gave us the suite on the second floor. There is no elevator. It was still a challenge for us, but so glad we stayed. If those walls could talk. So much history. No hot breakfast but packaged pastries and breakfast bars to take on the road. There is a wonderful cafe right across the street that she mentioned also. Lots of options. The towels were thick and plentiful, water, juices in refrigerator in lobby provided. Ice from the freezer in the kitchen. Nice selection of coffees with a Kergue in the room. No television but wifi is good. Books and more books everywhere. Lots of opportunity to read. Archer City is the home of the author of Lonesome Dove, the Last Picture Shoe, and Terms of Endearment. Photo ops everywhere. A fun stay.

This property is extremely unique. It's a combination of old Texas and old fashioned uniqueness. It's a great place to stay and relax.

We had a great stay here and will stay here when we return. A hidden jewel in Archer City!!

We loved staying at the Spur Hotel. Dottie, the owner, is friendly and helpful. Even saw her across the street at the diner and we stopped by the table to say hello. Not much to do in this small town, but if you need somewhere to stay on your journey, I would definitely recommend The Spur Hotel!

Classic and very Classy Hotel. A step back in time, and very memorable. I will be back!

The property was so adorable and had some unique features. The building has historic charm. The rooms were cozy and comfortable. They had a very clean atmosphere overall. The bathroom was perfect and came with a nice bathtub with sparkling white towels. We enjoyed our stay here very much.

Old west furnishings remind you you're in cattle country. Comfortable beds, clean room, and generous bath with water that was "good n hot".
