索頓旅館民宿(The Thornton Inn Bed & Breakfast Inn)

The hotel has been renovated, and the property was very pretty with huge oak trees in picnic tables. However, I rated this hotel as terrible because there were German roaches, and the smell of the room was so bad that we had to go buy Lysol and febreeze to even be able to breathe the air. I am a person who likes to get a nice hotel room for a great price however I would have rather paid more money and driven the few extra minutes into Biloxi and had a nice hotel room instead of living in a roach motel for the night.

Easy access to downtown. It is near a train track so expect a little noise from that. It passes quickly. Pillows were great! I would stay here again.

Newly remodel rooms with laminate floors. New mattresses and pillows. Great lighting on parking lot and friendly staff.

The good: The proximity to town was what brought us to this hotel. Plus the hotel had undergone a "renovation" from the previous ownership and we saw some good reviews from that renovation. The person at the desk was nice enough. We didn't eat the breakfast so I can't comment on that, but there is one. The parking was plentiful. The water was hot and the towels clean. The not so good: the room wasn't the cleanest and the renovations must have been done by blind people. The walls and room in general showed previous water damage and the whole thing just seemed rundown looking with a fresh coat of drippy paint. The bed seemed new but was hard. The plug in on my side of the bed wasn't connected to anything. The plug in on the other side of the bed made my wife's cell phone sound like it was brewing tea. 😮 The trains and traffic were loud (earplugs needed). It was tricky getting to the place, you need to pay attention to the turns and will probably end up going under the overpass several times. I asked myself a couple of times if I would stay here again and I'm not sure, probably not.

If you’re looking for a clean comfortable place to stay near downtown Ocean springs then this is the place. It’s recently been remodeled and the price is great. It’s not a fancy five star hotel but it’s a safe and clean place with a friendly staff. It’s also close to the casinos and attractions in Biloxi.

This older property was recently remodeled and looks very fresh. The furniture is modern and attractive, and the mattress and pillows are new and comfortable. The bedspread, sheets and towels are quite thin, and no extra blanket was available. The breakfast was pleasant.

There was poop on the toilet seat. They said they would clean but didn’t.

The beds were dirty keep finding other people hairs in bed an had bits on us from some kind of bugs an was costly itchy while laying in bed we ended up packing up an leaving an just driving back home that night at 1:30 in morning

They are remodeling BUT the room we were in was not and smelled bad. We complained but they didn’t move us. Also we were in a non-smoking room but the sheets had cigarette burns in them. Those were a bit scratchy on the back as we slept
